Twinkle, twinkle little star

How are you all doing? Here we are totally snowed in..... It's been snowing in our area for over a week now so we can hardly see out of our windows. I promise to update my blog with some pics later. The weird thing is that - some parts - not more than 20 minutes drive from our area - doesn't have the same amount of snow as we have... So as I told my manager - I will be back in the office again in March ;-) Well - that's for the snow update today.

Over to my project - I altered a gift bag on our local craft event some weekends ago. The challenge was to alter the gift bag for X-mas, use a ribbon and at least one button. Here's the result.
I coloured little Bundle of Love with my copics. Added pearls, ribbon and flowers. Sentiment from the DP. Oh - and yes - I added a little stickle to make her/his outfit spark a little bit more.

Kramis and hope you like it.

Se upp i backen!

I know that you are preparing for Thanksgiving - that's one of the traditions I wished we would have in Sweden, but nope..... So please have fun, spend time with your families and loved ones +EAT a lot :-)

Here we have tons of snow and more to come. So I think that it could be a winter just like the previous one where we even got our own little ski-slope ;-)

Today I want to show you a card that I made last weekend at our local scrapevent.

So with all this snow around me - I got the inspiration to colour the new stamp from the Elisabeth Bell Mini-release - called Look out below and in Swedish we would say: Se upp där nere - but normally we shout "Se upp i backen" (backe = slope).

I coloured her with my copics. DP from my local craft shop. Sentiment God Jul = Merry X-mas in Swedish - from a DP. Pointsetta to be found here and then I purchased the "swirls" or wires at our local craftshop. The snow is of course Flower soft - Polar White :-)

Hope you like it and that you are going to have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Happy Monday everyone!
Hope you've had a great weekend. I've had a wonderful one and got to spend all Saturday crafting with 39 other ladies. A wonderful scrapevent from 10 - 22 without having to prepare any snack, lunch, dinner or cake. If that's not a treat - well then I don't know *lol*. It was so much fun to see all the different styles, cards and layouts. Such a wonderful inspiration.

We also have a new BnW Challenge for you today - where I'm the hostess ;-) So I would love to see your cards/projects using the below sketch + Bold Winter Colours.
Here's my card - I used Snowball for my image and coloured her with my copics.
Hope you like it and will join us for the challenge.

Happy birthday!

Welcome to a new TIOT! The TIOTs as of today and during December will be all "Free style". So that will be fun to see what each of the DT girls will come up with.

I knew what I wanted to do - colour the new little stamp "In The Moment".
I wanted the image to be in the center - so not too much bling, bling..... Just a few buttons and the sentiment saying Happy b'day in Swedish (from Aud Design).

Hope you like her as much as I do. Have a great Tuesday everyone. Also - remember to enter for a chance to win the SCACD candy. Read more about it HERE.

Mini X-mas card

Hej everyone!
Just a very quick post from me today. It's still snowing over here - so it's an adventure to drive to work and home again - but we are lucky to have our winter tires on early.
Well - at least this will give me the inspiration to create some more X-mas cards ;-)

Here's a little mini-card that I made. The stamp is from my local craft shop - Pysselakuten and from a Swedish company called Reprint.

Coloured the image as always with my copics and added a few pearls.
Hope you like it.

Winter hugs,

Fall gift

I must tell you - it doesn't feel like Fall here today. If you remember - we had snow some time ago - but that went away and yes - it was Fall again. But today it's snowing like crazy! Isac is one happy boy, but his Mom is a little bit concerned - hoping that she will be able to drive back home safely from the office ;-)

Well - today Suzanne challenged us to create a Fall gift - something that we haven't done before. So I coloured 1st Leaf of Fall with my copics.

Punched out some leaves, added pearls, mini roses and ribbon (from my stash).
Then I decided to try one of the templates that is a freebie (Cutesy Cover) over at My Time Made Easy and make this little gift matching gift box. Sentiment is from Aud Design saying Hug in Swedish.

Hope you like it and join us for this fun challenge.

Coloured Snow Angel with my copics. DP from Memory Box - Mistletoe. Added Polar White Flower soft and some pearls. Well - there you have it. Hope that you will take the time to join us for this challenge.

Tidings of Comfort and Joy

Happy Tuesday!

Can't believe that it's November already and time for the very first November TIOT. Suzanne is challenging us to create a Winter/X-mas card using NON-TRADITIONAL colors - i.e no red, green, gold or silver.

So I decided to try to create a card using the colours brown, pink and beige.
I also wanted to use one of the new images from the Carmen Medlin for SCACD release. My choice was Love's Unspoken Bond - just because this image gives me the same cozy feeling that I want to have during Winter time and especially during X-mas.

Coloured them with my copics and added a little pattern on their clothes with my white gel pen.
Was I lucky to have the perfect DPs in my stash - YES ;-) The DPs are from a Swedish brand that I picked up at our local craft shop. Added a ribbon, few snowflakes and pearls created with my Viva Decor Pen. The sentiment is a rub-on saying "Tidings of Comfort & Joy".

Hope you like it and make sure that you check out the rest of the DTs work.
