Spring where are you....

Happy Sunday ladies!

In Sweden we dance around the X-mas tree for the very last time on January 13h. Then I did all the cleaning and packed all the X-mas decorations away yesterday. The nice thing was that the sun was shining so it was really easy to find all the dust - that's been hidden in the corners..... *lol* + it also felt like Spring actually is on it's way. I know that it's early - but a girl is allowed to dream - right? ;-)

To really get into the Spring mood - well then Susana has the thing for you. She's releasing supercute Spring Flora Fairies. To check out what the DT ladies have been up to - well pop over to the Store blog for links and more information.

I got to create a little card with the supercute Lily. Actually got my mini sewing machine out for this little card.

Kept the layout very clean - since I wanted the image to be in the focus.

Added stickles to the leaves and flowers. DP, ribbon and pearls from my stash.

Star!

Hej ladies!

How are you? Are you ready for a mini-tutorial from me?
I decided to create my very own paperstar - inspired by the cute Melody. I thought she was singing X-mas songs and decided to create a little X-mas card with her + a matching paper star.

This is how I made the star:

Cut your choice of DP into 4 stripes. Size depending on how large you want the star. Here I divided the cardstock into pieces -6" long.

Score the DP - depending on how wide you would like the "folds" to be.

Fold each piece as an accordion:

Glue the pices together and then the edges together to create a circle:

Decorate the center - I used a flower:

Repeat the process with different sizes if you want several layers on the star:

Then pick a ribbon of your choice and hang your new X-mas star in the window.

Today the sun is shining and that's wonderful - despite the fact that you can see that it didn't help to clean the windows the other week (all the raining really didn't help), hm..... ;-)

Well - to brighten my day and hopefully yours - I have this X-mas card made with the cute Little Elf Kin from Mo Manning.

Added mini glass pearls to the X-mas ball - so the card is actually a little bit heavy.

It's the last day of November and therefore I first need to say happy birthday to my cousins - the supersweet twins Anna & Emelie.

I also hope that you haven't missed the new upcoming release and blog candy over at SCACD? We are sharing some sneak peeks and today it's my turn to show you this cutie - called Fancy.

Coloured her with my copics and went for a rather soft range of colours.

Hi friends!

Hope you all are doing fine. I'm down with fever and a cold - feels like the flu - so I'm not moving fast these days. I guess it's that time of the year.

Anyway - just wanted to pop in and show you a card that I made upon request from Isac's teachers. His teacher Anna-Lena turned 50 and her colleagues asked me if I could create a card for her.

I decided to use one of my fav Victoria Case stamps - Scarlett Bonita. Coloured her with my copics of course.

Lantern, altered matchbox and note book

Hello ladies!

Just a quick post from me - and this time - no card. I finally got the time to create this little
lantern. The tutorial is available in the latest issue of the Swedish magazine Inzpira.

Here's the result where I've used the latest DP from Maja Design.

A pic from inside the lantern. The windows are made with window sheets from SU that I've embossed - using the embossing folder Royalty.

The handle and the lid from above: Used my MS punch to the handle. Roses and leaves from my local craft shop - Pysselakuten.

Here's the final lantern. I used an electric tea candle - so that I don't start a fire ;-) Snowflakes made with my punches (the large one from SU) as well as the branches. Lace from SU. Pearls from Pysselakuten.

Then I have altered a match box with matching Maja Design DP. The angel is a button that I purchased at Pysselakuten. Sentiment God Jul = Merry X-mas from the DP.

I would also like to show you an altered note book .

The stamp is a winter landscape that I embossed with vintage embossing powder. You can't see it from the angle on the photo above but here's a close up that might show it better:

Hope you all are doing fine. I'm rather tired after a wonderful b'day weekend (yes - I celebrated my 25th b'day again on Friday *lol*) and after using my new treadmill that I got from hubby and son.

Today I have 2 cards to show you. I was asked to create 2 cards for a Christening coming up 11/11-11.
I didn't have any baby images for Christenings - but then I popped over to Mo's store and found these 2 cuties. They are both coloured with copics.

No lines technique

Here's a very old card that I forgot to show you. If you remember - Make it crafty showed us

the no lines technique. I decided to try this technique with this cute digital stamp Pipi Petal. I thought that she was soo cute - that I printed out a large image and then I coloured her with my copics.

SCACD Blog Hop

It's time for a new fun release over at SCACD. This time I have 2 cards to show you - but first - just in case you get lost. Here's the blog hop order:

The first card that I would like to present to you is the one using Sass & Swagger. I decided to also create a card for a very good cause - the Pink Ribbon. So here you have her in all the Pink ;-)

Distressed the DP with my Tim Holtz distresser. Used 2 different laces from stash. Added tons of pink pearls and of course some flowers and a pink little butterfly.

I used City Skyline for my second card. This time I decided to emboss. That was actually ages ago since I did that - but now I remember how fun that is. Will have to create more - especially for X-mas cards. This card I call: Coming home for.... maybe X-mas, New Year or any other special occasion.

I stamped the image with silver ink and then sprinkled the white embossing powder over before heating it up with my embossing gun. Added ribbon from stash, some frost blue pearls and flowers.

Baby Tilda

Hallo friends!

Some of you got to see this little baby girl on my FB page yesterday. My neighbours daughter Alexandra and her boyfriend Tobias got a baby girl named Tilda earlier this week. We wanted to give her a little present and of course I needed to make a card for this cute baby girl.

I was going trough my stamps and realized that I didn't have that many baby stamps - so what could I do? Well - I decided to draw one myself instead. (Nice sometimes that I need to take the time to illustrate something myself) So here she is - a quick sketch (approx 30 min) and colouring with copics:

Good morning friends!

Today I'm going to a local scrapevent here in the village where I live. 50 ladies will be scrapping the whole day between 10-22 and yes - we will served breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between. For me that's total luxury :-)

It also seems like the heavy rain now has gone away - so it could be one of those wonderful Sunny Autumn days. Just like the one below with the new cute stamp "Pumpkin Patch Peeker".

I coloured the image with my copics. As you see - I made the smaller pumpkins look like the "decoration pumpkins" that ou can get in the flower shops (at least here in Sweden). I also wanted it to look like she's out on the field - after they've harvest the crop.

The matching Autumn DP is from SU as well as the ribbon. I didn't want to add anything else - because I didn't want to cover the lovely DP or the image.

Sentiment is from Whimsy (two stamps - tag and word).

Hej!

It's getting closer to the weekend and I'm really looking fwd to that. Isac has started soccer practise and it's so much fun to watch the 5 year old boys and girl chasing that football ;-) So now we are looking fwd to the weekend practise.

Today I would like to show you a little card that I made upon request for a Christening of my neighbours granddaughter Elvira. Elvira's mother loves dots - so I had to go through my stash to see what DPs I had with dots ;-)

I decided to use - not a typical colour combo for me - but one I do love - brown, blue and green.

My choice of stamp for today is Sass'n Class. I think she's perfect match for these wonderful DPs

that I got from SU.

Didn't want to hide this beautiful DP and image with too many embellies - so that's why I kept it clean and simple.

Hej ladies!

I'm still tucked into bed - but just wanted to show you a card that I made using the cute little Poppy.
I normally just love Autumn . but not how it's been here in Sweden so far with only rain, rain and rain.
I love it when the air is crisp and clear, the sun is shining and when all the true Autumn colours show up in the nature.

So to brighten my day I decided to colour little Poppy in these warm colours with my copics.

Wedding project

Hej ladies!

How are you? I was totally fine until yesterday evening. Now I have fever and a sore throat.....iack..... So this is going to be a very short post from me and then back to bed again.

Just wanted to show you a little wedding card+box that I made for some friends to my sister Louise.
They were going to give the couple a voucher at a travel agency and felt that they needed something "extra" and not just a plain card to go with it.

I decided to ink and colour up the Wedding dance couple from Kenny K. Thought they were perfect for a young couple getting married.

This is the front of the card/box:

This is how it looks like when you open the card. To the left the names of the friends + a song by the group Kent "Utan dina andetag".

Open the "lid" (with the name of the couple) and you have the box

It was a lot of fun to force myself to think "outside the box" :-)

The hurricane Katia has arrived to Sweden, but in a milder version. However - it's sooo windy and the rain is just pooring down. Really makes me want to crawl right back to bed and just stay there reading a nice book.

However - colouring is also something very relaxing - so instead I decided to make my very first X-mas card. So I inked Precious Present with Memento Rich Cocoa. Picked up my DPs and started to colour with matching copics.

Happy Friday everyone!

Today I have an "old" card to show you. I attended a local scrapevent and one of the challenges was to create a Summer card without using specific colours - as for example pink.

I decided to colour this cute EB digi Little Rapunzel. I think she's so adorable. Decided to go for a Summer green theme on my card, colouring and pearls.

Added some red and yellow flowers, a heart charm and a yellow SU-ribbon.

Hej ladies!

A very short post from me today - since we've just returned back from a mini-vacation in Denmark and I def. need to go to bed so that I can take care of that big laundry pile tomorrow...*lol*. I had planned to post these cards earlier this week - but the internet connection would not work from where we stayed - so........

Anyway - I decided to create 2 quick mini cards with as little embellies as I possible could. Hm.....hard - but it went fine - especially since I had these 2 cute images to work with from the "vault" over at SCACD. I really wanted them to be in the focus - so that's why there are no embellies + I also had requests for mini cards - not my usual 6x6.

Happy b'day Isac!

It's Isac's b'day today! Our little guy turns 5 - time really flies.

Well - I can tell you - it's been a loooooong week for Isac this week. He has been longing for this day and also for the b'day party we're having for the family today with all the aunts, cousins and of course Grandparents.

I made him this card - using Travis from InStyle stamps. I attended a scrapevent and there we were challenged to create a card or layout with a song or movie in mind. Well - the song that we here everyday is Popular by Eric Saade - a Swedish Singer. Isac loves his music and also try to copy Eric's dance moves.

I decided to ink up and colour Siren of pearls. I also wanted to create something special with her - not a card. I decided to try this little box Pop'n Top. This box is perfect to for example to fill with a small SPA-kit, candy, jewellery etc.

This is how I decorated the inside of the box. The "lock" is a little brad.

This is the week when most kids go on Summer break here in Sweden. They are of course longing for a long, warm Summer break with a lot of fun. I'm sure that many of them are wearing their nicest outfit for the last day in School and parents are taking pics of them. This is what I thought of when I saw the image "Sitting pretty".

We are enjoying some very warm days here and that's perfect - since we are painting our house in a new colour. Yesterday Isac came home from my sister's place having high fever - so that's kept me and him indoors the whole day.... We both are really longing to go outdoors again - but the high fever have to be gone first..... So instead we've been playing indoors + colouring. Isac also wanted me to draw the princess from Tangled - so that he can give that to his friend Augusta. Well - a Mom can never turn down such a request - right? It's the last day in May! Can't really believe it. It feels like it was yesterday when I was shoveling snow.....

I sure have. We went to see the Swedish Airforce, but couldn't stay that long - due to rain, rain and rain..... So now I'm back indoors again and being pampered by the two men in my life - hubby and son.

I got to use some of my very "old" stamps from WoJ - Dreamy Willow and Confirmand Melinda.

One of the gifts that we gave to Rebecka was this trendy and beautiful watch.

I got the honor to present Naturally Styled.

How are you these days? Do you get a lot of crafting time or do you spend your time out in the garden?
I myself do get the time to craft - but that's in the very late evening when hubby and son are sleeping :-)

What a beautiful day!

We're so enjoying the beautiful weather and nice temperatures that we have in Sweden now. Sunny and over 20C - just perfect!!! The only thing is that people are getting a little bit nervous - will there be enough Sunny days left for the "real" Summer period? You see - in Sweden we are really counting the days with sunshine and nice temperatures ;-)

Then I need to say - Happy Birthday to my sister Pernilla!

Well - over to something else that really warms my heart - and that's this cute, cute "Waiting For" stamp.

I decided however to turn the road into a beautiful river, since I thought that this cute girl was looking at the beautiful scenery outside her window.

Happy Tuesday ladies!

How did you like the new release of the "from the Vault" by Victoria? Aren't they supercute? I think so.

I must say - we have had wonderful temperature and weather in Sweden - between 18 - 20 C, but for a couple of days now - the temperature has been as low 2C in the morning and around 8 during the days. Today we got a mix of rain and snow.....brrrr....... So it's def. SPA-time and jump into a hot tub...
