Vinterhälsning - Winter Greeting

Hej!
I'm a little bit late with my post for the RoP/BnW Challenge - but I hope you'll like it.
Our sweet Rosette is challenging us to use our favourite colouring medium. Well - these days I am def. in to copics - as you've noticed :-)
I coloured sweet Tilda and Edwin in the Eskimo Kissed colour range - since I wanted them to go with the Winter village behind them.
Well - sorry for this quick post - but I need to go and colour some more new images that Summer has in store for you soon. I hope you continue to follow us on our BnW blog - so that you don't miss the fun coming your way soon!

A Very Merry

X-mas to you all that did not get to meet Santa in person yesterday! Here's a quick post from me wishing all of my blogfriends and visitors A Very Merry X-mas!
Today there's not going to be much action in the house of Bärgman-Margitin family ;-) It's the day when we walk around in our PJs for long, watch a movie or two, eat the left overs from yesterday and of course Isac is playing with all his new toys.
There will be too much candy as well.. :-) Well - I just wanted to show you this little card that I made and to mee - she def. looks like candy - doesn't she. Once again - this sweet image was sent to me by my supersweet friend Tammi. Hope you're having a great time with your family!

Well - off to heat up our lunch and then I will colour some new images that I've got. Nope - can't show you them yet - but I'm sure you are going to want them all.

Kram and have a wonderful, wonderful holiday break!

God Jul! Merry X-mas

Today all the kids (and their parents) in Sweden are waiting for someone to knock on their door. And it's not this cute little girl (Christmas Door)we are waiting for but Santa himself. I can only remember how nervous I got when I heard that knock on the door and saw that it was Santa - waiting to enter our home. I can really feel it again - my heart beating faster and faster...hihi....
So when you are reading this - we are celebrating X-mas with our family. Isac is waiting for Santa to arrive so that he finally can open his gifts. We are also going to be very tired after all that food that we normally have for X-mas and then of course - too much candy..hihi.....

Talking about candy - you know that there are still some chance for you to win some. The only thing you need to do is to pop over to our BnW blog.

So from me and my family - a Very Merry X-mas and all the best to you all for 2010! I'm so happy to have get to know you and to be a part of the wonderful BnW DT team!
God Jul & Gott Nytt År!

Another X-mas card

for you - the day before X-mas Eve! Here in Sweden Santa arrives in person and hand out the gifts to the ones that been good :-) So Isac is waiting for the big day tomorrow.

However we will be giving gifts today as well - since it's hubby's b'day!
Congratulations and we love ya!!

So now we need to go and sing for hubby. He's still in bed (pretending to sleep :-)
I guess he is waiting for his gifts. Therefore I keep this post short.

Have fun and remember - X-mas is about sharing and being together - so don't stress!

X-mas is getting closer

and are you all ready?? Why is it that X-mas seems so far away and then the last few days - you don't have enough hours? Sigh..... but it's a lot of fun as well.

Here we've had between minus 15 to minus 19 Celsius for some days. I love it!! I so much prefer the dry and cold air - than rain, wind and grey days. I do so hope that the snow stays for X-mas - it really helps to get into the right X-mas mood - don't you agree?? Just look at the pic above that hubby took the other day.

I also just wanted to show you this small X-mas card in the non-traditional colours that I made earlier. Thank you Tammi for sending me this cutie - she was so fun to colour and of course - can't get enough of those Eskimo DPs either...hihi........ Marlene - a huge thank you for the flowers - they were perfect!

Also - Today it's my Mom's b'day - so Happy b'day to the best Mom and Grandma in the world!!! What would we do without you? Love ya!

Kram and yes - there will be a couple of more posts up before I go into the X-mas mood for a couple of days - so stay tuned :-)

Winner - box it up!

Hej!

We've got some snow here now and it's really, really cold outside. So our sweet son Isac got down with high fever again yesterday evening. We do hope that he will be fine before Santa arrives.

Anyway - here's the lucky winner chosen my Random org: Linda Horn

Please send me your contact details and a big congratulations Linda!

Bling it!!!

Hej!

It's time for another TIOT before we go on a small X-mas break. This time Suzanne wants us to "bling it". Well - I wanted to try something new - so I decided to colour 2 Turtle Doves with my copics and create a gift tag of this cute image. Then I added 3d gloss around on the heart and sprinkled tons of glitter (yes - I'm covered in it as well :-). Let it dry for a little bit and then I added the 3d gloss all over the girl. Waited again and then a third layer of 3d gloss.

I then put the image in my freezer for a couple of hours. When it was cold enough - I folded the heart in different ways to create cracks. I wanted this to look like a heart of glass with a few cracks ;-)

Well - the whole tag is now shining, but of course I needed to add stickles and smooch on the leaves - because otherwise they looked so dull compared to the rest of the image..hihi...

Now - the only problem with this - is to get a nice picture of it without having the flash reflection in the image. Well - that was not so easy. Anyway - I took two pictures - one with flash and the other one without. I do hope you can see the bling :-)

Hope you like it and I do hope that my niece - who will receive this gift tag on one of her X-mas gifts - will like it as well.

Also - make sure that you receive what you want from Santa and place your order this week. Susana is going to take a well deserved small holiday break between Dec 23rd - Jan 1st. So just to make sure that you get what you want - pop over and place your order now!

Kram and I hope to hear from you - even if I know that you all are superbusy with the last minute preparations for the holidays.

RoP/BnW challenge - Cranberry, Hunter Green and Gold

Happy Monday to you all!

I guess you all are extremly busy with the preparations for X-mas - but hopefully you
have one or two hours to join us for a new RoP/BnW challenge. This time it's our sweet Susan hosting the challenge and she want's us to use the colours Cranberry, Hunter Green and Gold.
I coloured sweet Tilda with my copics. Added several layers of my "cranberry and hunter green" (very light hunter green ;-) DPs.

Added the sentiment - that I've received from my sweet friend Kathy, some snowflakes and the golden ribbon that I got from my sweet friend Tammi.

Well - there you have it. It did not take me that long to do - so I really, really hope that you will have the time to play with us.

Kramis and have fun!

Sankta Lucia

Today we celebrate Lucia all over Sweden. It's a very old tradition and if you want to read all the details - check it out here. Also - each city elects there very own Lucia every year - so for some girls - it's a dream that comes true..

We are going to my parents this morning with some Lucia buns and Ginger bread cookies. Isac and his cousins Rebecka, Victoria and Julia are going to sing some songs for them and bring them the cakes. Isac was dressed as Santa when they had the Lucia event at the kindergarten (Friday). Here you have some pics of him from his very first Lucia event - 2007, then he was a Gingerbread boy in 2008 and this year he wanted to be Santa.
Well - that's why I thought of Lucia when I saw this cute image - Star of Bethlehem.

I coloured them with my copics and used my Basic Grey DPs of course. Went for a clean layout and added Country Elegance Flowers and some extra bling! The white birds in the left corner is a rub-on that I've received.

Well - I guess you want the chance to win some more Advent candy - so please pop over to BnW blog and leave your name and link.

Looking fwd to read your comments here as well.

Merry X-mas and a Sneak Peek of Anki's Digi's

Hej!
Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Here things are fine, but if I must complain - I don't have enough time for the fun stuff - creating cards :-) So here's a pic of a card that I made for a X-mas card challenge over at our local craft shop - Pysselakuten. And I even tried to make the image in 3d - cutting several layers and adding together....That was tricky, but fun....
Sorry for keeping this post short - but I also wanted to let you know that I will try to set up my own Etsy shop - offering Anki's Digi images for you. I have a few and plan to release them this weekend (keep your fingers crossed that it will work).

Just as a teaser - here you have a sneak peek with a part of an image called Angel girl...

Kramis and looking fwd to hear from you and especially what you think of the Angel girl above. I just coloured the image quickly in Photoshop - and yes - I am very new to this as well:-)

Time to bake

Well - I guess it's time to bake the X-mas cookies - unless you've already started. We'll we have already baked our Lucia buns. For those of you that don't know what Lucia - is - it's a Swedish tradition that we celebrate Dec 13th. I promise to tell you more about it on the BnW Advent Calendar Dec 13th ;-) Anyway - here's the pic of the Lucia buns and you will find the recipe here.

Now on to the card that I want to show you today. It's baking with Nana. Isn't this the cutest image ever? I so love it. It reminds me of my sweet Grandmother Aina. She and I was very close and all of us loved it when we got the chance to bake with her. She would bake the most delicious cookies.

I coloured the image with my copics and yes - as you all know by now - I love, love, love my Eskimo Kisses DPs :-), Added the sentiment from Aud Design, ribbon from stash and a heart charm.

For those of you that want the chance to win some Advent Calendar Candy - pop over to our BnW blog and leave your comment there. However - I love to hear from you on my blog as well...

Kram and happy baking!

Fancy fold

How are you ladies? I guess you all are superbusy with the preparations for X-mas.
Always wondering why the days run so fast in December...hihi..... Anyway - we have a new
TIOT for you - just to make sure that you get a break from all the things on your "to-do-list".
This time we want you to show us a card with a special fold - using one of the new E Bell stamps for SCACD. Well - I decided to just play and see what I could come up with and hm...not sure what to call this fold - but it has to be Anki's Special...hihi..... I cut my cardstock into 6 x 6 and fold it. Then I cut almost half of the front off. Added some layers of Basic Grey DP and cut the window with my punch. Added ribbon and acetate sheet for the window. Coloured sweet Atlantia with my copics and added stickles as highlights on some parts. (Therefore the flash reflection - sorry.....). Created a frame around Atlantia (put it on 3d dots), added Bella Baubles instead of nails :-) and then glued the framed picture to an accordian fold so that you can lift the image out of the cardbase and make it stand on your desk. Not really sure on how to describe it - but I hope you understand what I mean.
Added a punched circle (to avoid the framed pic to fall down), Country Elegance flower and Prima Flower Center Sultan. The sentiment is a rub-on - sent to me from my sweet friend Tammi. Well - I hope you like the Anki's Special fold ;-)
Also - I do hope that you have not missed the SPECIALS that Susana has put together for you. I'm sure you will need something (you can always wrap it and say that it's to you from your secret Santa...hihi.....)

Box it up - and the chance to win

Well - it's X-mas time soon and of course we all love gifts - don't we. Well - I really needed a break from making X-mas cards - so I decided to make a girly giftbox instead.

Coloured the sweet Susan with my copics and altered a pillow box with my June Bug papers.

Added a blue ribbon (from SU) around the "flaps" that you fold to close the pillow box- don't know what to call them...hihi....Then I attached some matching Hydrangea flowers and spacers. The box will hold the necklace that you see in the front.

Hope you like it and that you would like to play with us. It's nice to get a break from the X-mas card making - right :-)) -

Oh and yes - if you leave a comment on my blog and become a follower of my blog and the SCACD blog - then you get the chance to win this necklace and the pillow box. How does that sound to you??? You have until Dec 15th to leave a comment and of course - if you want to - mention this candy on your blog.

Christmas Gift - RoP/BnW challenge

Hej!
Hope you've had a great weekend. We certainly did and I managed to bake many of the X-mas cookies yesterday. So am I tired today - the answer is YES!!! ;-)
This week Peta is setting the challenge over at RoP/BnW. She wants us to make a X-mas gift or alter a project for X-mas. I (due to lack of time - yes I confess - it's hard to bake and create at the same time...hihi.....) went for a X-mas card and a X-mas gift bag.
I inked up the very fresh and cute Christmas Hearth from the latest BnW release.
Picked up some matching DPs from my stash and went for a clean layout. Just added the
letters JOY for my sentiment and a ribbon (from SU) + some dew drops.
Close up of the two cute little kids - waiting for Santa ;-)
Then I made a rather "clean" gift bag - since I did not want any image to cover the DPs and the little Santa ;-)
Sentiment from Aud Design - stating Merry X-mas in Swedish.
Hope that you like it and want to play with us. Also REMEMBER - tomorrow is the first day in our Advent Calendar over at BnW. You do not want to miss that!!

Ginger anyone

Hej!
First of all - thank you soooo much for the wonderful and sweet comments on my project for the BnW blog hop. So much fun to see that so many of you wanted to join us and that you all agree: E Bell has done it again and thanks to Summer - we all can get a piece of her talent to work with!!!

Today I have a short post for you - showing you the supersweet image Gingerbread corner.
Isnt' she cute? Well - I'm not sure if we will be able to make such a wonderful Gingerbread house this year - but I think we will try. It will be so much fun for Isac to make one. However - it could be that he wants us to make a Gingerbread Ferrari instead :-)

I coloured the cute images with my copics. DPs are from the Eskimo Kisses range - of course *lol*. Ribbon from my stash.

Many of you wanted the template for the bottle tag/box. I received it from our local shop - Pysselakuten at our local scrapevent Vänerscrappen Nov 14th. Here's the template.

Tag:

Box:

You see "Glögg" mentioned - that is our mulled wine that we drink - adding almonds and raisins in the Glögg and then drink it while we are eating Gingerbread cookies. Vin = Wine.

This is the different sized that you can use - since the Glögg bottles normally are smaller and not as tall as the wine bottles. The lines that are marked indicates the score/fold lines +
where to attach the box to the tag. I hope that you will not have any difficulties in putting this one together. Don't hesistate to email me if you have any questions on how to put this together.

Here's the result again of the one that I made for the blog hop. You can of course alter it and decorate it as you see fit.

Kram and looking fwd to hear from you.

Button fun

Happy Tuesday to you all and it's time for another Try it out Tuesday!
TIOT is all about using buttons on your cards/projects.

Well - I do love my buttons from the Eskimo Kisses range - so I had to use them of course.
Oh - and of course the matching DPs in the Eskimo Kisses range :-)
Also - you NEED to check out the glitter buttons that Susana has in store for us.... they are a MUST HAVE!!
I decided to make a triangle box - since they are so easy and fun to make (thanking my sweet friend Iris for learning me how to create one).

Coloured Lily and Billy with my copics. I do hope that you've noticed that Susana has refills for the most popular copic colours. Higlighted spots on the image with 3d gloss and white inkssentials pen.

Cut out snowflakes with my punch. Added the buttons and tied a knot with brown scrappers floss on each and one of them. Closed the box with ribbon from my stash and then I added the sentiment - from Aud design - God Jul 24/12 = Merry X-mas (since Santa arrives on the 24th in Sweden).

Hope you like it and make sure that you check what the rest of the DTs have been up to. I'm sure I will :-)

BnW Blog hop is here!!!

Finally it's Monday! I've been waiting for this blog hop and I hope you all have as well.
Again - Elisabeth has done it again - and I'm sure that you all are going to NEED (yes - you'll need them - I can hear it already ;-) all these new cute stamps. So what are we presenting this time - well no cookies - but different ideas for gift wrapping, bags etc.
But before I start to tell you about my project - here's the blog hop order for you - just in case you get lost:
Make sure that you stop by each and one of us - since one lucky winner will be able to win the full set of these stamps! For all details - please read carefully on the BnW blog - so that you don't miss the chance to win these cuties. The stamps will be up for pre-order today as well - so make sure that you order them now.
Well - as for my project I wanted to create a bottle tag/box. We received a lovely template at our local scrapevent - Vänerscrappen (Nov 14th), but I did not have the time to try one then. So of course I thought this would be perfect to go with my card featuring Two Turtle Doves. Of course I filled it with candy and Swiss chocolate (X-mas chocolates with almonds).
I went for a little more vintage style this time on my card - and therefore I also wanted the bottle tag/box to match. I will post the template on the BnW blog later this week - for those of you that would like to try it.
This cute little girl looks very Swedish to me. Why?? - you ask - well - it's because she's wearing a Folklore bonnet. I used to have one - but with roses - when I was a baby girl :-).
As you can see - I went for a distressed look. Coloured her with my copics. The roses were sent to me by my sweet friend Marlene - love them. Chalked around the edges (after using Tim Holtz distress tool) with pine cone + on the flowers.
Looking fwd to hear from you. And now you are off to Iris blog to see what she's been up to!
