Friend

The challenge over at Papertake weekly is "My favourite things" - well for me it's always family and friends and then of course the Anki's Sweethearts ;-) especially when I see what you all have been creating using my illustrations. So of course - I had to colour one myself again - here you have Young Julia with purse - inspired as you know by my niece Julia (now 7 months old).

I coloured her with my copics and then using - just repeating myself these days it seems......the wonderful, wonderful DP from SU. I am so in love with them. The colours are just what I like - YUMMY ;-=)

Cut out some flowers with my punches and added Bella Baubles to the center. Added the Sentiment "Friend" from SU. Also - attached the Cupcake ribbon.

Hope you like it and I am so pleased with myself - finally got the chance to participate in several challenges again. Can't say it enough times - I'm loving vacation!!!

Thank you Miss

The challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is to create a thank you card for the teacher.

Well - I am lucky to have - as I hope you agree to - a perfect image for this - Teacher Rebecka from Anki's Sweethearts collection no 2.

I also must say - I am so happy that I got the time to play in this challenge again. I have sooo missed being part of this. So again - vacation is just wonderful. I inked up Rebecka with Memento on the new papers that Jeanette was so kind to send me. What a difference - the copics worked so much better on these papers than the one's I've had earlier. Thank you dear.

Decided to make a gate fold card. They are so easy and fun to do - don't you agree?

As you know by know - I am totally in love with my new SU DPs so - here you see that I've used them again. Also - I think it was Bev that once said that she was into the pink and green season - well dear - you've passed it on to me. Didn't know that it was that contagious ;-)

Chalked around the edges with pine cone and then added the heart that I've made out of flower tread/wire. Finished it off with some Bella Baubles.

Added the matching DPs to the inside of the card.

Hope you are having a great Friday. Here it has been raining, raining and raining. I guess that's what we get after the heat wave that we had earlier. So - the good thing is that I can spend time in my craft room without feeling guilty ;-)

Here's a card that I wanted to show you. I received this cute stamp from my Italian friend Serena. Thank you sweetie - loving it! It's from an Italian store that you can find HERE.

I coloured this little fairy with my copics and chalked around the edges with pine cone.

I wanted to keep the layout rather clean and simple - as I said in my earlier post - back to basics:-). Love the new DPs that I got from SU - they are to die for. Would love it if they one day would enter the Scandinavian market. Until then - I have my sweet friend Elizabeth providing me with the new stuff :-)

Added Cupcake ribbon and hearts. The hearts are made by me - using flowerwire - you know the thinner metallic one - that you can find in different colours. I added a Bella Baubles in the center of them as well as on the bottom of the card.

Hello girlfriend

I'm having so much fun lately - being able to colour images and make some cards without having to bother about time and getting up early to go to the office. Vacation time in Sweden (we are entitled to 25 days a year by Swedish law) is just wonderful!

Anyway - wanted to share this little card with you and hoping that you are enjoying Summer as much as I am. I wanted to use a stamp that has been waiting for some ink for a while - and that's Young Cathrine with friends - from mine and Susana's very first release of Anki's Sweethearts.
I wanted to use her - since this card is going to a special blog friend (can't tell you - it's a secret ;-) and because Cathrine is surrounded by her friends.

Coloured her with my copics and chalked around the image with pine cone.

Used my new SU DPs - loving them but I'm also in love with new Basic Grey DPs that Susana have in store for us now. Can't wait for mine to arrive ;-)

Cut out the Sentiment - Hello girlfriend - from Aud's design (yes - our DT colleague Aud) with my SU punches and added some Bella Baubles - voila ;-)
I wanted to have a clean look and go back to the "basics" - if you know what I mean.

Looking fwd to hear what you think about this one and we are one day closer to the weekend - well - that I don't care about because I am having VACATION - YEAH!!! *lol*

Wedding

Hej!

As many of you know - we attended a wedding for Emma and Krister in the Southern part of Sweden last weekend - July 4th. I can tell you - it was a really hot wedding - all the guests were wishing for a poolparty ;-). Thank you Emma and Krister for a wonderful wedding!

I made the folder card above - since we gave them a gift certificate (they want a new dining table). Used my SU and Inkido DPs. Sentiment from SU(except for the Swedish word Kärlek = Love - that was cut out from the DP from Inkido). Added some roses and hearts from stash. The cute couple is from an Italian brand - that Serena was so kind to send to me.

I coloured them with my copics.

Our little Superman

TIOT26 is to make a Scrapbooking page using a stamp from Anki's Sweethearts or the Victoria Case collection.

Well - I have a confession to make - I've never EVER made one earlier. I've only been making cards - since I did not think Scrapbooking pages was something for me. Well - Suzanne - now you got me started - so I better make an album for Isac ;-)

I found these three pictures of Isac as a toddler. I think he is around 11-12 months on these ones. He loved his Superman t-shirt that we got for him in Vienna. Isac has always been curious and wanting to explore things. Well - I guess like all kids - he needed to check out the stones and hm......can you eat these or???

I decided to use Little Helper for my stamp and coloured it with copics. The reason why I chose the little helper is not only for it showing a "Little Man" - but it's also for me a boy on new adventures (alltid på nya äventyr in Swedish) with his little helper.

The DPs are all from SU as well as the Cardstock and Ribbons. Cut out some flowers with my punches and added Bella Baubles to the center. Used my SU Wheel for the yellow lace.

Added some stones. The letters are from my friend Serena - thank you sweetie!
