SCACD-PALOOZA BLOG HOP

Welcome to the combined Mini Elisabeth Bell & Victoria Case for SCACD release!

But before showing you my card - here's the blog hop order just in case you get lost:
Suzanne  - Kim - Elaine - Alex - Jacquie - Danni - Aud-  DianneMarti - Lori - Anki (me;-)

I am presenting the cute little VC image for SCACD called "Little Rose".  And again - I wanted the image to be in the focus and that's why I went for a clean layout.
I coloured her with my copics, added a few baubles and matching mini roses. The sentiment "Till dig" (= For you in Swedish) is computer generated by me.

Hope you like it and that you pop over to the store and do some serious shopping ;-) Make sure that you also browse the other sections in the store - since Susana have a lot of new "MUST HAVE" products ;-)

BnW Blog Hop - The CHANGEABELLES are here!

Welcome to a new BnW release for the Changeabelles Collection. If you have arrived from my sweet DT-sister Kathy's blog - then you are on the right track. If not - then I suggest that you start from the beginning over at the BnW blog.
Also - just in case you get lost - here's the blog hop order:
Lynda - Andrea - Iris - Elise - Kathrin - Jodi  - Kathy - Anki (me :-) - Lilian - Audhild - Gini - Rosette . Make sure that you also visit our Guest DTs for additional inspiration: Liza - Mary Frances  - Stephanne

Pre-orders for these new cuties starts today and orders will ship out beginning October 4.

I hope you will be inspired of what we have to show you today and before you pop over and do some serious shopping - leave a little comment on each blog and on the BnW blog so that you don't miss the chance to win. I will pick one winner from my blog who will receive a stamp of their choice from this new collection. Summer will also - randomly - pick a winner from the BnW blog who will receive a new set of the BnW stamps. She's one generous lady!

So over to my card - I got the honor to present "Wheeling by". Isn't he adorable? I love cute little boy stamps since we have an adorable, fun and cute son Isac (4 years old). Every time I colour a boy stamp he asks me - Mom - is that me?

Well - I need to tell you another fun story - before we move on to the stamp - last weekend he told me that he will move to France *lol*. (I have no clue where he got France from - since he's never been there.) I guess he thought that it would do the trick and make Mom cave in. But after a few minutes of negotiations and hugs - he promised to stay at home for some more years ;-)
As you can see - I also added the "Spring" stamp to my image. Thought he could be wheeling by with gifts and flowers for maybe Mother's Day or just as a b'day gift :-)
I went for a clean layout (as always these days, hm.....) and only added a few buttons and the sentiment "Grattis" = Congratulations in Swedish. DP from SU. The stamps are coloured with my copics. Hope you like him and I'm looking fwd to hear from you.

After you've left your comment - pop over to my supertalented DT-sister Lilian's blog.

Time for chocolate?

Hej!
Is it time for chocolate yet? I can tell you that the wind has been sooo ice cold lately so a warm cup of chocolate would just be perfect. But I had to settle with colouring this warm and cosy image from InStyle Stamps instead ;-)

The stamp is called Couch Girl.
Went for a clean layout since I wanted the image to be in focus and just added a few flowers. What do you think?

BnW Sketch Challenge

Happy Monday everyone!
It's time for another BnW challenge -this time hosted by our sweet & talented Audhild.
She has the following sketch for us to use:
I decided to colour Smile. I think she's just adorable and is perfect even for Autumn cards.
Making an Autumn card is also the challenge over at my local craft shop - Pysselakuten. So I will enter her for this challenge as well.
Coloured with copics. DP from Basic Grey. Added a few dew drops. Sentiment "Varma hösthälsningar" = Warm Autumn Greetings is computer generated. Didn't want to add any extra flowers since the DP already was full of them *lol*.

Kramis and hope that you will join us for this wonderful sketch challenge!

Man of the match

I'm so happy that I got the time to play with the wonderful sketch over at Friday Sketchers by supersweet and talented Jeanette.

I got this new stamp from my local craftshop Pysselakuten. It's from Flower Soft and of course - being a Mom to a soccer playing son (even if Isac only is 4 - he can't wait until he can start soccer practise for real - until then - he plays with his parents every afternoon :-) I had to have this stamp!

Coloured with my copics. DPs from Basic Grey.

Aren't they adorable? Thank you also Jeanette for a fab sketch! It was great and helped me to get my crafting mojo back!

Just wanted to say

Hej everyone!

Is it Autumn yet where you live? I can tell you - it's really getting colder and colder over here in Sweden. Yesterday the temperature was +1C in the morning, but today we had
+ 10C. So it's really, really hard to decide if I should start wearing socks again or not...*lol*

Anyway - enough about the weather and over to the things that we can have an impact on - hopefully - more crafting time :-)

I was very lucky to be able to spend some creativity time with a bunch of ladies at a scrapevent taking place in our small village. We were approx 50 ladies - crafting from 10 - 22 and pampered with food, snacks and drinks during the whole day. So I do have a couple of cards that I want to show you that I managed to create on this event. But first of all - THANK YOU ULRIKA AND PAULA for a wonderful day!

We had a sketch challenge with the theme "less is more" and here's my entry.
I coloured Town Girl with my copic, punched out a few leaves and simply added a sentiment in Swedish - Ville bara säga = Just wanted to say...

Hope you like her as much as I do. Now I'm heading for bed and TGIF tomorrow!

Switcheroo!

Today the TIOT challenge is to use any Elisabeth Bell or Victoria Case for SCACD image and make it usable for an upcoming Autumn or Winter holiday (holiday stamps excluded of course ;-)

I decided to colour Fab Friends with my copics and added a few baubles. DP from SU.

However I did not only want to make an Autumn card - but also a card to hold mini-candles - maybe to go with your Thanksgiving gift or for any housewarming party you might attend this Fall? This is how the set looks like:

Hope you like it. Please note that the SCACD store will be open until 5pm PST today and re-open for business Sunday the 26th. This is due to Web Maintenance. You can browse the store of course during this period, but knowing Susana very well - I'm sure that she will have some news in store for you soon - wink, wink :-)

Kramis and looking fwd to hear from you,

Shape it up!

It's time for another TIOT and Suzanne would like us to "Shape it up" - not sure if she wants the DT to be to some fitness training or *lol*. She does not want our projects to be square or rectangular shaped.

I first thought of making a mini-card with a shape of one of my nesties. Then I changed my mind. I did however cut out the cardstock with my nesties - but instead of making a card - I  made this cute little note book.

Coloured Sweet Slumbers with my copics. Added a few pearls. DP and ribbon from SU.
Here's a pic of the inside.
Hope you like it and join us for the fun.

I also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELENA (my sister-in-law who turns 35 today)

Here's the result:

Hope you like it.

2 x 2

Welcome to the very first TIOT in September!
Suzanne would love to see 2s on your project, that means 2 products, 2 DPs and 2 embellies.

I decided to create some mini-cards with the cute All Grown Up and Bubbles. Coloured them with my copics . DPs from my stash. Added mini-pearls and mini-rose on the first card:

and pearls and heart-pins on the second card:

Hope you like them and would like to join us!

Wishing you a great start of the week!

Friday Sketchers

I think I'm on a roll here - 2 challenges in a row......I am in shock *rofl*. Well - I could not resist to use the sketch over at Friday Sketchers.
I must confess - it was a true challenge - but I'm pleased with the result.
I coloured Spot of Tea with my copics. DPs & ribbon from SU. The only thing that I moved from the sketch was the little rectangle to the right - I decided to use a circle with the sentiment and on the left side instead Sentiment from my supertalented friend Kathy.
Oh - almost forgot - had to have some pearls o the card as well.

Hope you like it and TGIF!!!

InStyle Stamps September Sketch

I just had to colour some of my new images from InStyle Stamps and then I checked their blog - and they had this fab September sketch that I had to try.

I'm so happy that I got the time to play - because it's been ages since I had any time over for just the fun things - entering challenges and being inspired by others.
Hoping for more of that this Autumn.

Anyway - over to my card - I coloured Jana with my copics. Cut her out with my nesties. As for the DP - had to use my Eskimo Kisses DPs again ;-)

The sentiment is sent to me from my sweet and very talented friend Kathy! Added a few dew drops and a ribbon - well there you have it.

Hope you like her as much as I do. She was so much fun to colour.

X-mas tree

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I would like to show you a X-mas card (yes - I'm starting early this year *lol*) that I've made using the wonderful Digi image from In Style Stamps called O Christmas Tree.

I decided to not use the traditional X-mas colours since I still so much love the Eskimo Kisses DP. Coloured the image with my copics of course ;-). Then I went for a rather "clean" layout. Punched out the matching leaves with my Martha Stewart punch that my sweet friend Lim sent to me. Added a few dew drops and of course - some frosting stickles ;-) and a matching ribbon (from SU).
Here's the finished card.

Hope you like it! And as always - I love to hear from you. Hoping to be able to do visit your blogs this weekend.
