Autumn is actually almost my favorite time of the year - well - that's when the sun is shining and the air is crisp and clear. That's not how Autumn have been so far here in Sweden. Instead it's been raining, raining and raining.......sigh........
To turn that raining into something positive - well - then I guess that it means more time to craft while enjoying a nice, warm cup of coffee ;-)
Today I want to show you the supercute Fairy Jensen by Mo Manning.
I was happy to find matching DP from Stampin Up in my stash.
Hope you are not in shock after seeing that I've posted several days in a row now...hihi.....
Well - here's a card that I made for a cute little girl Tilda - who turned 1 earlier in October.
She's the grand daughter of our neighbours and such a cutie.
Found this lovely Mo image "Love-ya" and coloured with my copics.
I haven't blogged for ages - so let's see how many of you out there that still checks out my blog, hrm..... ;-)
Well - I've been crafting - but haven't had the energy to actually put the cards up on my blog. Spending at least 8 hours a day in front of the computer at work - made me want a PC break ;-)
Anyway - you will be seeing a few cards here so hopefully I will hear from you + be able to visit your blogs as well.
First I have a card that I made for Isac's youngest cousin Emilia. It was for her Christening end of September.
Image coloured with my copics. The stamp is from SCACD and is perfect for cards like this.
DP from my stash as well as ribbon, flowers and pearls. I also added a little angel charm that one of my colleagues have made. The money for these angels goes to the The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation.
Hope you like it and pop back soon again for more cards if you want to see what I've been doing lately ;-)
Long time since you heard anything from me. Work, soccer (I'm training Isac and his friends) and life is taking up almost my time :-) That's why it was so nice when Isac's previous teachers called me and asked if I could create a card for on of his teachers who has retired.
I didn't have a stamp - so I had to draw myself (pencil and copics).
Added a little angel charm (money goes to the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation) made by a friend of min that she can remove and wear.
This is the inside of the card - with the lyrics to a Swedish song about life as a pensioner.
Hope you like it. Promise to try to stop by your blogs soon again.
Just wanted to show you something that Isac made using his newBIC kids pens. I received several packages of pens (since I'm a Buzzador) for him to play with. He really love to colour - as you already know. These pens and crayons are great. However - he thinks that the coolest ones are the 2-step pens. With these you can colour a base and then using the 2 set of pens colour the next layer - without getting the "wrong" colours - if you know what I mean.
Isac and I made a little tutorial on how the 2-step pens "Mini Colour & Create" works:
Fist - colour your background - using any of the pens that you see under no 1 above. We chose green for grass.
Then you take the lighter green that you find under no 2 above and colour the leaves and stem.
Picked up the yellow colour for the flower centre.
And then the flower in pink.
As you can see - the colours under no 2 doesn't blend with the green background. Instead it creates a separate layer on top of the green. Isac thought this is superfun.
He also got to test:
* Kid Colour - waterbased ink that is easy to wash off from clothes or hands - if needed:-)
Recommended for kids over the age of 3
Medium blocked tip
* Evolution pencils in bright colours
Made of 50 % recycled material
Super solid tip
Safe - no splinters
* Plastidecor crayons
No mess = Clean hands and clean clothes :-)
Super solid tip
Recommended as of the age of 2
Here's the first sketch Isac made using these pens/pencils - An aquarium with a diver, fish and a treasure.
I can really recommend these products (because I also had to try them myself of course *lol*).
Have a wonderful creative week everyone! For those of you that live in Sweden - you find these pens at Clas Ohlson, Panduro Hobby and ICA.
Today we have been celebrating our son Isac who turned 6 today.
He loves to dance to Michael Jackson with his best friend Oskar. So I thought I better create
a MJ card for him ;-). He got the Thriller outfit above from his aunts and had to try it before going to bed *lol* .
Here's finally a pic of the card that I promised you after colouring this stunning girl Adele from
Make it crafty that you find at SCACD. She's coloured with my copics.
DP from SU and then I just added a few matching pearls. It was a long time ago since I used so little embellies - but I really love this stamp and I think she shines without a lot of blings, flowers etc ;-)
We are celebrating Midsummer here in Sweden and as always it's a mix of sunshine and rain. The thing is that almost everyone try to dine outdoors this specific day - and normally that means - taking out all the food, sit down, start to eat and then the rain arrives - carry everything inside again, sit down and then the sun shines.........out again...... Well - I guess you get the picture :-)
Anyway - we are really longing for some beach weather over here - but hopefully it will arrive in July when most people go on vacation. At least I hope so. Until then - well then I have to play with my stamps from SCACD and dream about the beach - using this cute little Peeker.
Coloured her and the background (created by me) with my copics.
Long time since you heard from me, but work is keeping me too busy - and not much time left for crafting unfortunately. However - glad to have friends that ask me for cards - so that I have to take some time :-). So here's two wedding cards that I've made. One for a young couple getting married today: (Image Kenny K)
One for a couple that are celebrating 50 years of marriage today (Image Mo Manning).
They are both coloured with copics.
Hope you like them both.
