Booooo and Happy B'day Rebecka

Hej!
I guess that many of you already are planning what to wear for your Halloween outfit. Here in Sweden we don't celebrate Halloween, but the shops want us to ;-) And yes - therefore the kids are starting slowly to get scary outfits and candy like shown above. Look at that spider...iack.... not sure if I dare to eat it myself...hihi....
So I made a Halloween card - that my nieces can use for any of the Halloween parties they will attend. I inked and coloured the supercute BnW image called Little Witch with broom.
My sweet, cute and smart niece Rebecka turns 13 today - so Happy b'day to you sweetie. We are going to have a great party on Friday!

Coloured her with my copics. All DPs are from SU. Got myself a new leaf punch as you soon will see on my coming posts as well ;-)) Love it! Then I just added a tag and the letters BOO!
So simple, but I am actually pleased on how it turned out.
Let me know what you think. I so appreciate your comments my friends!

SCACD 1 Year Anniversary Celebration with a mini-release

Today's the day you've been waiting for. Susana is celebrating her 1 year store anniversary and therefore she has decided to release 2 Special Edition mini stamp sets. One by the fabulous Elisabeth Bell and another mini stamp set by the wonderful Victoria Case!!! The stamps are available today at 9am EST.
I got the honor to create a card with Suzanne (the shopper gal...wonder why her name is Suzanne *lol*)

I coloured Suzanne with my copics - and yes - gave her a new hair colour - hope you like it sweetie ;-). Used my DPs that I got in our local shop Pysselakuten. Wanted to make a rather clean layout (I'm really into that again - don't ask me why ;-)

Added the Mulberry flowers and some extra bling. Cut out the sentiment Retail Therapy - one with my SU circle punch and then added the Therapy part as a tag.

Of course I needed to add a little handbag charm to go with the card as well.

The original image has "Sale" as a text on the bag. Of course I needed to change this to SCACD - because that's where I think Suzanne is doing a lot of shopping and not only Suzanne *lol*.

So I hope you all like these new images that Susana is releasing today. So to help her with her celebration - please check out the rest of the DTs blogs and get inspired and then I hope you visit her wonderful shop and do some serious shopping. There's nothing better than Retail Therapy - or ???

Click on the pic and it will take you directly to Susana's store and yes - as you can see - Suzanne did some shopping over at SCACD ;-) Kramis - Anki

Meet Noelle

Happy Monday to you all! How was your weekend? Mine was great but very windy.
It's been November weather here - well not really - warmer than November, but it's
been grey and windy....brrr.... I so much prefer snow and minus 10 C.
And look at the cute Noelle - she seems to like the snow as well ;-)

I think she is just adorbale - don't you! Again - went for a rather clean layout for the card, since I wanted Noelle to be in the center of it. Coloured her with my copics and added some stickles to highlight the snow.
Got the X-mas DP from our local craft shop Pysselakuten. Added a couple of apples and a ribbon and there you go!
For the Hänglar lovers - Yes - I met them in person and they are supersweet! Got to see some new stamps that are not available in the web-shop - Am I teasing you now??? :-)) Got a couple for some sweet blog-friends of mine. So Santa will be early for some of you... :-))
The question that always come up from you all is - will they start with International shipping soon. The answer is no. The reason is that they are family company and doing everything themselves - from drawing, pressing to order handling. So as you can guess - there's not much time for anything else. However - they do appreciate all the love they are getting from each and one of you.
Well - will check in on you all later tonight.

X-mas fairy Holly

Hej!

Another quick posting from me today. We are trying to get everything organized in the house again. The bathroom is ALMOST ready - just missing a couple of tiny bits and parts - so it should be completed next week and YES - I got my new washing machine yesterday. My sweet Dad installed it for us! So today is laundry day!!! ;-)

Well -I wanted to show you this card that I made with the cute X-mas fairy Holly from Mo's digital pencil.

The DPs used is - yes you guessed it again - Eskimo Kisses. I really love them - so sorry if you will see them a lot on my cards from now on...hihi.......
Used my SU circle punches and my snowflake punch. Added the Snowflake with a little spacer in the center.

Hope you like it and I must say - it's always so nice to read your comments.

And just a little teaser for you Hänglar lovers out there - tomorrow I will be meeting them in person, since they are at a local scrapevent 1.5 hours drive from my home ;-)

From the heart

Hope you all are having a great Friday so far. Here's a quick post from me featuring the supercute cowboy girl Taylor from the Hearts and Hugs release over at SCACD.

Coloured her with my copics - (can anyone tell me how this addiction to copics will go away ;-)
The wonderful DP is from our local shop Pysselakuten. I really fell for this one.
Added the sentiment from SU, some blings, flowers, ribbon and then the heart charm.
Wanted to keep the layout clean and simple. Hope you like it!

Also - a quick reminder - the Double Release Blog Candy will be up on the store blog from the 26th until 11 pm (EST) on the 28th. You could win 1 set of each of the new releases. All the details will be up on the store blog - please read it carefully so that you don't miss the chance to win this amazing candy from our sweet Susana.
Have a great Friday!

Thank you Caz

This week I received a wonderful present all the way from UK. It's from my supersweet and supertalented blog-friend Caz! Have you seen what she made - this supercute clock... Wow - it will be perfect for my craft-corner and everytime hubby mention something about me being occupied with making cards - I will just tell - him - have you seen what time it is *lol*.

Thank you so much Caz! Loving it and your card is just wonderful.
I am so blessed to have such wonderful, sweet, talented new friends all over the blog-world. You are all amazing and I keep saying - one of these days we need to set up an International Blog-meeting event. Would be so much fun to meet each and one of you in person.

A little yummy for your tummy

Happy Wednesday everyone!

As you know - we had a blog hop that made everyone crave for more - not only cute images - but a lot of tasty cakes. The DT girls made me so inspired so I got to bake an apple cake too. (We got tons of apples in our garden this year). You will find the recipe in the end of this post.

I coloured "Warm apple pie" with my copics to match the DP Eskimo Kisses Rooftop (yes - I am currently in love with this DP - that's why you've seen it a lot on my posts lately ;-)
I thought that I should create a more Winter scene for our cute Belle. That's why I did not want to add too many embellies - just leave the stage to Belle and the wonderful DP.
Added some dew drops, the sentiment and ribbon from SU + a heart charm.
I think Belle looks like an older version of Heidi and I could imagine her serving desserts after a Swiss fondue. What do you think of when you see her? Must say that I miss Switzerland. Used to live and work there for 2.5 years and Switzerland and Zürich is forever in my heart. It's my second country in the world. And Swiss Fondue is def. something that we have every winter - love, love, love it! Will share my recipe of Swiss Fondue (that I got from my Swiss friends) another time.
Well- over to the recipe for the Apple Cake:

* 150 g of butter (melt)

* 2 egg (whip together with the sugar until it's white)
* 1 1/2 dl sugar

* 3 dl flour
* 1 teaspoon of baking powder (mix with the flour)

Mix everything together.

Poor it in your baking tin.

* Peel 3 - 4 apples and cut them into pieces.
* Mix 2 teaspoons of cinnamon with 2 table spoons of sugar.
* Roll the apple pieces in the cinnamon/sugar mix.
Decorate the cake with the apple pieces as you see fit.

Bake the cake in the oven at 175 degrees C for approx 30-40 minutes.
You'll see when it's ready :-)

I made it in my roasting pan (that is as large as the size of the oven). Therefore I had to multiply the recipe x 2.

Cut the cake and then it's ready to be eaten just as it is, together with vanilla sauce or with icecream. Your choice. Hope you like it.

Flower soft madness

This week Suzanne wants us to use a lot of flower soft on our cards/projects. Well - I can tell you - I had flower soft everywhere in the house after finishing this card *lol*.

Wanted to use one of the very first stamps that I purchased from Susana. Well -I think actually he's responsible for our friendship ;-) He's called Snow Person and I think he is just adorable.

Coloured him with my copics and cut him out with my nesties. Then I added flower soft on bits and parts of the image and some stickles. Created a "snow charm" using my stickles. Used a flower wire to attach all the flower soft on and then attached the "snow charm" on that.

Distressed all of my Basic Grey Paper - and yes - I am really getting into that as well *lol*.

Hope you like it and would like to play with us. If so - please use the keyword "TIOT 37" when you upload your project on SCS or PCP.

Susana is celebrating her 1st year store anniversary. YEAH! Congratulations sweetie!

Therefore she's having a release 2 Artists in 1 day. It's a Special Edition mini sets with new - totally adorable - Elisabeth Bell and Victoria Case images for SCACD. The release day is September 29th. There will be sneak peeks from Sept 26th - 28th with of course some yummy candy. Read all about it here.

Kram and make sure that you don't miss all the fun and to check out the rest of the DTs work.

Stich it up

is our new challenge over at RoP/BnW challenge blog. It's our talented Rosette who is challinging us this time.

Well - I have been using faux stiches on all my cards earlier, but now I had to buy a Janome mini sewing machine - could not say no anylonger *lol*. Isac and I will use it together - that's at least what I told hubby...hihi.... (I have a regular one, but that one is almost never used - sadly enough).

I wanted to colour our new stamps from our BnW Fall release this weekend. The first one that I fell in love with is Hearty Thanksgiving. Don't you think they are just adorable. I can really picture Isac and his little cousin Julia on a bench together like this one day.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Sweden, but I wish we could. It always seems like a wonderful and cosy family-get-together.

Coloured the image with my copics. I used the Eskimo Kisses Glazed Apple DP and then it was time to use my mini machine. I'm in love already ;-). I also used a tiny bit of the Eskimo Kisses Rooftop DP as well and my Martha Stewart heart lace punch - also another thing that I truly love. Added button and flowers.
Well - what do you think about my first "real stiches" card? I know that I will be doing this a lot more now.

Make sure that you check out what the rest of the DTs have been up to and hope that you want to play along. You find all the details for the challenge here.

Rebecka

Have you had a great weekend? Hope so. We had an amazing sunny and wonderful Fall day yesterday, but today it's been grey and rainy. Luckily that give me some time to create without feeling guilty ;-)

Just wanted to share a card with you featuring Rebecka. Coloured her with my copics and I have noticed that the new pale one's that Susana has - as a bundle of 12 - are perfect to use when you want to blend your "regular" copics. Actually - I have started to prefer that from using the blender pen for the colours that match together.I wanted to make a card only using brown and pink, but a little green had to be in there too.
DPs from SU and Basic Grey . Wanted to keep the layout very clean and simple - so I only added choc chip ribbon from SU, flowers and baubles. Used my Martha Stewart border punch that I got from my supertalented and generous friend Marlene.

Did not add any sentiment, since it could be used for a girl that like to become a teacher or for someone that actually is a teacher or someone that just like's school or being outdoors playing with her pets.

Wish you a great Sunday and hope that you stay tuned - because a little bird told Rebecka that Susana soon is up for some more fun. Well - can't tell you what - so you better be following the store blog to make sure that you get the news first...hihi....

Nicholas

God Morning ladies!

First of all - a huge thank you to all of you that joined us for the blog hop over at BnW yesterday. It was a lot of fun to read all your comments and of course - I will have the winner ready for you over at our BnW blog today!

Then I wanted to show you this card that I made with Nicholas from Mo's Digital Pencil. I think he is a cutie.

Coloured him with my copics and used yellow to go around him (inspired by my supertalented friend Tammi). I think the yellow really made the pic glow a little bit more - don't you?

I did not want to add too many embellies since I printed a rather large image. Used my brand new DPs from Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses Rooftop that I got in our local shop Pysselakuten. Added a few dew drops and the sentiment and ribbon from SU.

Well - that's all for now. We are off to the Fire Station - they are having an open house today and of course Isac would like to check the out their trucks :-)

Wish you all a wonderful Saturday!

Time for an aperitif?

I hope you have time for this little aperitif?? Because I think you will need it after you've read this post and what Summer has in store for you.

Summer has given me the honor to be the BnW "Mistress of Ceremonies" for the Belles 'n Whistles Fall Release Blog Hop. Well - I could not do it all by myself - so I am so pleased that our cute little Belle wanted to help me out on this one ;-)

So click on my card above and it will take you to our BnW blog where you can join in for all the fun.

Ingrid 80

Hej!

My neighbour wanted me to make a card for a lady that turned 80 this past weekend. I got the instructions: hat, white hair, walking frame, Gudrun Sjödén dress (Swedish designer).

Since I did not have stamps that would match - I had to draw the image myself. Wanted her to look young and vivid for her age - so I did not draw too many wrinkles ;-)
Coloured her with my copics.
Added flowers and dew drops in matching colours. And yes - forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card - but used matching papers for the inside as well - since it's hard to write the greetings on dark purple cardstock ;-)
They were very pleased and I am happy that I could capture Ingrid the way they wanted me to.

Belle Wednesday

Well - that's what I call my project over at our BnW blog today. Belle is also French for beautiful and that's what I think this little girl is - don't you?
For those of you that have missed this - the DT girls are posting projects/cards on the BnW blog everyday for you to be inspired by. And you can also win a stamp sometimes - just by leaving a comment. Nope - can't tell you which one it is - she's keeping that to herself :-)
Back to my project that I want to show you. I wanted to colour cute Belle sitting with Teddy for such a long time and also make a handbag. So I made the handbag during our Frändescrap event after the tutorial I had purchased from Becky Roberts. She has some really fun tutorials - so you will see some more of the things I've made from her tutorials.

To make this bag - make sure that you have matching DPs. I used my SUs, since I know they match both on the inside and the outside. Here's one side of the bag - with three pockets. Here's a pic of the larger pocket that I made to go on the otherside. Added my coloured image of sweet Belle + some pink roses. Here's how it looks when you open it. As you can see - the inside match the colours on the outside - even though the pattern is different. Used my SU punches to make the lock and attached a brad in the center. Added velcro on the back so that it closes and opens easily.
I used my SU ribbon to go all around the sides and as the handle.
Here's another angle for you. Hope you liked it! Also - hope you are ready for the new stamps that are released soon. I assure you - you don't want to miss that!!!
And yes - I have a question for you - what other projects would you like to see here - that is - anything but a card and that would be?????
Have fun and again - don't miss the release of the next set of amazing imaged for BnW!!!

Triangular Fold Card

Hej!

This week Suzanne wants us to bring out our Scor-Pals. Well - I have to confess - I don't own one. However - that did not stop me from making this Triangular Fold Card. I made it with my Fiskars and that worked perfectly as well.

For those of you that want to know how this is made - well here's the link to Scor-Pal's site where you can follow the step-by-step instructions. However - I made a little different one - hope you like it.

I used Little Helper for my image. I have not had the chance to colour him for a while and I really wanted to. Coloured him and his little puppy with my copics. Then I used my Tim Holtz paper distresser around the image and also on each of the DPs. Chalked the edges with pine cone.

DPs are from Basic Grey. Added some Baubles and a ribbon. Sentiment from Aud Design saying Vänskap som värmer = Swedish for Warming friendship. Here's a pic of how the card look like open. Hope you liked it and that you want to participate. Make sure that you upload your card on SCS or PCP using the keyword "TIOT36".

Now - check out what my DT girlfriends have been up to and then start with your own amazing project.

Grattis Elena

It's my sister-in-law Elena's birthday today. So I've made this b'day card for her on our local scrapevent Frändescrappen.
We hope to be able to visit her soon, but she and her boyfriend Erik are so busy these days. They have purchased a house and are now selling their apartments - so not much time for b'day parties - just homestyling ;-)) and making choices for their new house (it's not yet built - so you can guess what they are going through....what kitchen they would like to have, tiles...colours.....)
On this card you see the cute stamp that I got from my supertalented and supersweet Italian friend Serena! She's amazing!
Elena - hope you will have a wonderful b'day! From your nephews and their parents - when can we come and play?? ;-))) Have fun sweetie! We love ya! And yes - there's a gift to go with the card - but that will stay as a secret until we see you!

X-mas carols

God morning ladies! Just wanted to share this X-mas card that I made at our local scrapevent - Frändescrappen. Mo had just released this cute choir and of course I needed it. I have seen that many of you are in the same needs as I when it comes to Mo's stunning images...hihi...

Coloured them with my copics. I printed a rather large image and therefore I did not want to add too much blings or embellies.
Used my DPs from Basic grey. Cut out the circles with my punches to add the sentiment "God Jul" = Merry X-mas in Swedish (sentiment from Aud Design). And yes - Santa arrives on X-mas Eve in Sweden - in person - and hands out the gifts to each and one of us that has been good ;-) (Keeping my fingers crossed - still a few months to go...)
I have a question for you also - what daylight lamp do you prefere. I will be putting one up on my wishlist to Santa and of course I need to hear what you ladies - the expertise are saying first.
Wish you a great Thursday and the weekend is getting closer! YEAH!

Sisters

Hope you all are having a great Wednesday. It's actually warm over here - not sure what's happening with the Fall season, but maybe we are getting Summer back *lol*. Well - I will not complain -the longer we can keep our Summer jackets on - the better ;-)

Just wanted to show you this card with the cute little Sisters. Aren't they sweet? I am actually the oldest one out of 4 sisters. Yes - My Dad is very well trained after having to be the only guy in a house full of 5 women (4 daughters and my Mom) ;-) However - he always say that it's been great - because his sons-in-law tend to be more eager to help - a son would maybe not have hesitated to say no...hihi..... Well - it's actually the other way around - my Dad is a big help to all of our families - since he is def. our handy-man! So from your daughters - We LOVE you dad!

Coloured them with my copics and again - actually used purple, hm....am I moving from a red/pink girl into other colours...... ;-) Well - needed a little bit of pink of course.
DPs from Basic Grey.
Hope you continue to keep yourself updated on our BnW blog. If so - then you know that Summer soon has a new release coming of these cuties. So make sure that you are updated and pop over to the blog and read more about it + get inspired by the the DT girls.

Try it out Tuesday - Sketch Challenge

Hej!

Ready for another Try it out Tuesday challenge by our sweet Suzanne? Well - here you have a very nice sketch to follow. Suzanne - this one was so fun to work with - thank you sweetie!

I almost - note ALMOST...hihi.......followed the sketch.
The only thing that I turned was that I moved the Sentiment to the left corner instead of to the right.
I decided to colour up Autumn - since I can tell you - it's almost Autumn here in Sweden. At least - that's what it feels like. Coloured little Autumn with my copics. Cut her out with my nesties and added the Susanament. DPs from my local craft shop Pysselakuten. Ribbon from SU.

Used my SU punches to cut out the circles on the top. First I was thinking of adding just 3 Bella Baubles - but then I wanted to make something different. So I cut out the two circles and then a flower with my flower punch before adding the Baubles ;-)

I must say - I really, really like how this card turned out. Might be that I will keep this card for myself...hihi.....

Well - what are you waiting for - go ahead and start your project using this fab sketch from Suzanne. Also - make sure to check out the rest of the DTs work and as always - tag your project with "TIOT35" if you upload it on PCP or SCS.

Have a fab week my friends!

Colour challenge by Susan

Anyone than me that feels that the weeks are just flying by??? Well - it feels like September soon will be gone as well - even if it just started.....
Today our bathroom furniture will arrive. I do hope that everything will look as great as on the pics....... and soon, very soon - we will be able to shower (well - we do actually have a bathroom upstairs - luckily... Otherwise I guess our colleagues and friends would complain by now...*lol*
Enough about our project and over to this weeks challenge - hosted by our sweet Susan over at our RoP/BnW challenge blog. It's a colour challenge where we should use - soft blue/lavender/cream.
Can you guess how hard that was for me..... Those of you that know me - knows that I am not a blue girl.......so I had to go through all the DPs that I had and yes.... I found some.

It's nice though when someone makes you think-outside-the-box. And Susan - thank you - I actually really love this colour combo.

I coloured my sweet Miss Anya with my copics. Found my lavender cardstock (I know - it almost look black on this pic - but it's not - trust me..... and then light blue DP from SU. Got to use my Martha Stewart heart punch that I got from my sweet friend Marlene - thank you dear - loving it and you of course :-). Added cream and lavendel coloured roses.

Hope you like it. Also - please let us see your projects and make sure that you are using one of the stamps that Summer carries in her store. I guess you've seen that she soon will be carrying stamps from Bildmålarna (yes - they are Swedish ;-)

Also - I hope that you are staying tune what's happening over at our BnW blog - don't want you to miss that part of the fun that Summer and the DT girls have in store for you ;-)

Kramis and hope your week will be great!
