Cardmaker Isac - 3 years old

Hej!

Just a quick post from me today. Wanted to show you this card that Isac has made. Not bad for a 3-year old!! He really enjoys crafting with me and he can cut the papers with my Fiskars or with scissors. Then attaching glue is not a problem at all.

Stamping is something that he knows as well and using Mom's punches. I had to help him though to make sure that the sentiment was almost in the center of the circle punch ;-)

The only thing that I did help him with was to add glue to the dew drops and attach the little charm.

Hope you will have a great Monday and I will be back this week with more cards for you + hope to get some time to visit your blogs. Thank you all for leaving such sweet comments while I have been away.

Victoria's Secret

and then I am not talking about the lingerie ;-) but about this notepad that I made for
my niece Victoria - using the cute Dear Diary image from VC collection over at SCACD.
And it's perfect for this weeks challenge where Suzanne wants us to create a notepad or a notebook cover. So I decided to make one myself - using my bind-it-all machine - another tool that has too much dust on it - why don't I get the time to use all of my crafty stuff, hm.......
Used my Basic Grey DPs again - loving them. Coloured the cute little girl with my copics. Cut out some flowers with my punches and added a pink ribbon that Serena - my Italian friend sent to me. Added the Bella Baubles and key charm . Now this little notebook is ready for my niece - to note down all her secrets in.

Hope you like it and want to play along. Can't wait to see your projects. As always - remember to tag your project with the keyword "TIOT33" when you upload it to PCP or SCS.

Ready for our Roses on Paper/Belles'n Whistles challenge

Happy Monday to all of you!

Today we have the honor to inform you that Summer has decided that the RoP Challenge now also is a Belles'n Whistles Challenge! Wonderful - right? More images to play with - yeah!!!

The challenge this week is set by our sweet Peta. Peta wants us all to get out all those decorate punches and also combine this weeks challenge with another one. Well - I got a new Fiskars corner punch (that also emboss the corners - not sure if you can tell on the pic though) and a Martha Stewart one from my Chicago trip. So glad that I could use them right away...hihi....

I was browsing through my favourite challenges and decided to join the Friday Sketchers. Love that one - but have not had the time to participate as often that I would like to.
The sketch to use is the below one.
I turned the sketch a little bit - as you can see here.

Coloured my Sunshine and Apples (need to pretend that it's still Summer here ;-) with my copics. Still need to practise on the black hair colouring though..... Cut her out with my nestie.

Added some dew drops and roses (from my stash).
DPs from SU. Sentiment "Grattis" (= Congratulations in Swedish) from Aud Design.
Punches - Martha Stewart and Fiskars Corner punch
Hope you like it and remember to check out what the rest of the DTs have been up to. Also - hope that you would like to participate. Just remember to secure that you use the correct stamp - before entering.
All details are to be found on our

I promised

to show you how the Sour Cream Containers turned out. Remember - the one's that I made for the wedding of Theres and Martin (Theres is the daughter to a dear friend of mine). They got married Aug 15th - and I had the directions to follow their invitation card that they had made. So they wanted them not to be cute - just clean and crisp.

Here's what they looked like. I made 60 and I was happy that I had my crimper ordered from my sweet friend Elizabeth. The containers were filled with bird seeds - instead of rice - that the guests could throw on the happy couple!

Congratulations Theres and Martin!

Kram and hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

PS. I am trying to fix our laundry machine - the doorlock broke.....Typical - when you have tons of things to wash....
Next week will also be a busy week here. Isac is going back to the daycare - but now he is going to be with another group of kids - age 3 - 6 - so he's no baby anymore. I will join him - since the schedule is that he starts only a couple of hours every day.

Then we have the workers coming in for our bathroom renovation. So I better create some cards today :-)

Meet Jami

Well - you all know Jami - our sweet DT colleague. Well - this is the animated version of her ;-) Jami is also the talented lady behind all these cute blinkies for the Exclusive Stamplines for SCACD - so she is not only sweet - she is soooo clever as well ;-)
Today is the day for the Hearts and Hugs Collection Series #2 release. So I understand if you will not stay on my blog for long - therefore this quick post for you before you hop over to SCACD and get your hands on these.

I stamped Jami on Neenah Crest with Memento Ink. Coloured her with my copics - and yes - I had to order the Orange Bundle set from Susana as well...hihi...... Love Orange!

Used my Basic Grey Papers again for my DP. Added the orange ribbon and the brads from my stash.

"Blinged" the card with my Petaloo Dazzlers and added the Susanament - Forever Friends.

I must say that I totally love this image - it's so cute and the puppy - he looks like he has escaped from the movie 101 Dalmatians ;-) Adorable!!!

Well - what are you waiting for - GO SHOPPING and then you can check out the rest of the DTs blogs...hihi....... Have fun!

You're invited

to the previews of the FUN over at Susana's Custom Art and Card Design.

Susana has really been spoiling us with having wonderful images. Well - get ready for another one - this time it's Hearts and Hugs Collection Series #2 that will be released tomorrow.

I got the honor to display Game Night!
I stamped the image with Memento on Neenah Crest Paper (thank you Jeanette for sending me some to test. I bought a whole pack when we were in Chicago - and it was even checked at the airport security control...hihi.....). The copics blends really well on these.

I coloured the image with my new copics (well almost all of them were new). Had to order the new Pink bundle from SCACD. (Well - I found a few other colours as well during our Chicago trip...hihi.....)

DPs are from Basic Grey - I think most of them match even though they are not always from the same paper pad. Added some roses from my stash and some Baubles (need those on almost every card...hihi.....). If you look closely you can see that I got to use my Martha Stewart punch (also from our Chicago trip) ;-)

Sentiment is a Susanament.

I hope you like this image and make sure that you visit the rest of the DTs blogs today to see more of this upcoming release. I will be back tomorrow with another preview for you.

Finally

The laundry is almost taken care of so I managed to make a card using this sweet Miss Poppy from Belles'n Whistles. These cute stamps arrived on the same day we were leaving for Chicago - you can understand that it was hard for me to leave them untouched until we arrived back home....I coloured her with my copics. And for those of you that have seen what my DT friends can do with these - well - check our RoP project and tutorial blog for Iris wonderful tutorial and also Jodi has said that she will be back with a tutorial on her blog soon as well.
The DP I used is from several of my Basic Grey Paper Pads. Love them! Sentiment and Ribbon from SU. The brad is also one of the Basic Grey Glazed ones. Not sure if you can tell - but the corners are cut with my new Fiskars corner punch - that both cut's and embosses the corners. Also - the lace is made with my brand new Martha Stewart Punch - Yes - I did find the time to visit a Michael's store when we were in Chicago...hihi....
Here's a close up of cute Miss Poppy - illustrated by the very wonderful, talented and inspirational Elisabeth Bell.
Hope you like her as much as I do and I will be back soon with more cards to show you with the Belles'n Whistles images. Also - please let us know when you have created a project with one of these fresh and new images. We love to see what you are creating.

Back to school

This week Suzanne is challenging us to make a teacher gift or a student gift.
I went for the student gift - since I think the funky Spunkette - is perfect for teenagers.

I decided to make a tag for my cute niece Rebecka - that she could have on her bag and
also a matching bookmark.

I coloured Spunkette with my copics - loving them and every time Susana ads new colours to her store - well - then I know that I will be needing them as well...hihi.....

I added her on different layers of cardstock and DPs in blue - since Rebecka really loves blue.
I attached the blue ribbon and the little "bling" with a Blue Moon charm "live" in the end.
Here's a close up of the matching bookmark. I cut out all the layers with my nesties.

Hope you like it and I am looking fwd to see your projects. Make sure that you upload them using the keyword "TIOT32" on PCP or SCS.

Wishing you a wonderful day and make sure that you look what the rest of the DTs have been up to. Also a very special welcome to our new DT members Carolyn Bounds & Dianne Prewitt!!

Make sure that you don't miss the NEW FUN coming your way - that is the New Hearts and Hugs Collect #2 for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design by Victoria Case. Susana is having a Blog Candy starting tomorrow and the release of these cuties is on Friday!

Flowers from a Shy one

Hej!

Welcome to our blog hop for Susana's sweet friend - Della - the lovely owner of I brake for stamps. If you have not checked her selection of stamps - well pop over and you will be spending hours to go through them all...hihi... We wanted to say THANK YOU to Della in this little way for always getting Susana's stamps pressed and shipped (to us and to the store) with perfect service.

I used the Daisies Shy Bear for my THANK YOU card for Della. Coloured him with my copics - have you seen the new copic bundles that Susana has in her store now?

Cut him out with my nestie. Used my SU DPs and cut it from one corner to the other. It's always so nice that the patterns on each side match with each other. Added a ribbon from SU and some flowers from stash (the roses are from my sweet friend Tara).

Well - I will not keep you long - so go on hopping and if you want to start from the beginning - then you pop over to Suzanne's site (and then you can hop along to all of the DTs).

Now - please hop to the end for a chance at a prize (can't tell you what though, but those of you that know Susana - well you know that's it's something that you def. will like...wink, wink.....

Black, Pink and Yellow - TIOT31

That's our Colour challenge this week over at Susana's Store blog.

I decided to colour the cute Alexa - from the fresh release of Elisabeth Bell images over at SCACD. I coloured her with my copics and chalked around the image with pine cone.

Added her on different layers of black, pink and yellow DP. The DP is all from SU except the one behind the sentiment - that's from Basic Grey.

The sentiment is also from SU - but I left some part of this stamp out. It's now saying Too cute - just what I think sweet Alexa is. Added some yellow roses and Bella Baubles.

Hope you would like to play along. I think this was a very fun challenge - since I would not have thought of that colour combo myself. So thank you Suzanne for always challinging us.

If you want to play along - please upload your card to PCP or SCS with the keyword "TIOT31".

Kramisar and remember to have fun!

Fall colours - Orange, Brown and Warm Red

This time it's my turn to host the challenge over at RoP. Well - it's getting colder here and we have not had that much of Summer. However - I do love the Fall - especially when it's a sunny and warm one with crisp air. So for this challenge I want you to use Fall colours - Orange, Brown and Warm Red.
I wanted to make a masculine card and therefore I decided to ink up cute Ian. Coloured him with my copics and cut him out. Used my SU DPs for the different layers and chalked around the edges with pine cone. Added the red leaves behind Ian - so that it looks like he is walking with the leaves falling down. Oh - and some metallic brads.
Hope you like it and I am looking fwd to see what you will make with this colour challenge. Also - remember to check out what the rest of the RoP DTs have been up to.

Thinking of you

Hej!

Just a quick post from me today (I am on vacation still :-). Remember that I said that I had new copics in purple? Well - I wanted to work with them again and decided to ink up this cute little Rian from the new E Bell release over at SCACD. I love the way she holds that cute little puppy - you can really tell the love between them.

Again - I wanted the "clean" layout - don't know what's with me these days...hihi.... I used the DP from Laura Ashley. Added a few yellow roses and purple baubles.

Sentiment from SU.

Hope you like it and remember - there's a SCACD gallery over at SCS - so if you use any of the products that Susana has in her store - make sure that you add the keyword SCACD - so that we can upload your card or project to the SCACD gallery.

OH - And be the first ones to get your hands on the NEW Polar White Flower Soft and Autumn Flower Soft. Susana has it in her store now - so pop over and make sure that you have some for your coming projects.

Card for Max

Well - as we are going to visit friends over in Chicago - then I of course needed to make some cards for our friends sweet kids - Mya and Max. So here you have the card that I made for Max - he turns 1 soon.

Finally I got to colour this Cowboy Ethan - the very first digital stamp that I purchased.

I red the story behind him on PCP and purchased the stamps over at Pink Cat Studios. Ethan's story really touched me and many more. Did you know that the set raised over $2000 for Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois....isn't that awesome, all in honor of the sweet Ethan.

Ethan's mother - Alicia is also a very talented crafter and I am so touched by her open heart and that she has the strength to share the loss of a child and how life now needs to go on without him.

I coloured Cowboy Ethan with my copics and used my SU DPs for the different layers. Chalked with pine cone - as always these days. Added Max - letters that I got from my sweet friend Serena. Also - can you see - no embellies what so ever. It was hard to stay away from it, but these sweet images really made it so much easier.

Warm hug to Alicia and her family and you know that we are thinking about you. I will be back tomorrow with my card showing Cowboy Ava.

Sketch by Suzanne

First of all - today it's our Anniversary - so to my hubby - I LOVE YOU!

Then over to the new TIOT challenge - were we should use this fun sketch provided by Suzanne. I was not sure what image I wanted to use - so I first went for the DPs and decided to use my new loveley Basic Grey Urban Prarie - they are sooo yummy ;-)). Followed Suzanne's sketch, but turned it around a little bit.

Decided to then to ink up the cute Shy Bears that I just got. Colourd them in the same colours as the DP with my copics. Hope you have not missed that Susana has some new colours in her store. I am now a copic addict - thanks to Rach that got me into this addiction...hihi.....

Cut out the ovals with my nesties and the Shy Bears image.
Added ribbon from stash together with flowers, buttons and scrapper's floss.

Oh - and yes - used some Shimmerz on the Bears - not sure if you can tell on this image though.

Hope you would like to play with us and upload your card on SCS or PCP with the keyword "TIOT30"

Kram and now I and Isac are going to prepare something for hubby when he gets home from work.

Oh - I almost forgot - Susana is sponsoring a fun "Scavenger Hunt" blog candy starting at the "Fans of Karen Lockhart" PCP group & ending at the store blog. You can win 3 hand-coloured Lockhart stamps (the 3 patio pot stamps) & a pack of BG paper! It will run until Saturday/ winner announced on Sunday!

Some bunny loves you

I totally fell in love with this cute image - Claire from the supertalented
Maurie J Manning - Mo. I printed her out on heavy aquarelle paper and tried to colour her with my copics. It actually worked fine.
I think I must be in my purple period now...hihi....... well you need to use the new colours that you received - right? Well - I've ordered more copics now from SCACD - so I am starting to have a wonderful collection.

Used my SU DPs and love the stripes - it kind of gives you that pyjamas feeling doesn't it...hihi....Added some flowers and spacers from stash. The sentiment is a Susanament - actually originally created for my illustration of Fluffy ;-)

Oh - and of course - some bling in the top corner.

Hope you like Claire as much as I do. She is a darling. Hope to be back soon with more cards showing the sweet images from Mo. It's going to be a hectic week, since we are preparing all the things on our "to-do-list" before we leave for a week with our friends over in Chicago.

So I will be without a computer within a couple of days from now - however - please keep on leaving your comments - since I sure will read all of them when we are back.
