A card for a little man.....

Hope you all had a wonderful Saturday! I sure did - since we had our local scrapevent in my village - called Frändescrappen. It was as always very well organized - thank you Ulrika and Paula. We were pampered the whole day with food and snacks. So we only had to concentrate on making cards, LOs or other projects. They had also arranged for the store Countryscrap to be there - so of course I had to shop some...hihi.....

Well - now back to the card that I want to show you today. This is Matthew from the latest VC for SCACD release. Isn't he cute and I love that dino on his t-shirt.

Brought out my Basic Grey DPs and had to give it a go with my new paper distresser from Tim Holtz to get that "older look" on the DPs.

Did not want to put on too many blings - but had to add one brad and a charm attached with scrappers paper floss.

Christening card

Hej ladies!

Just another quick post from me before I go shopping for a new laundry machine. Well - yes - our old one needs to go.....

This is a card that my sister asked me if I could make for her. She and her family was attending a Christening of a little girl. I was not sure what stamp to use - but then I decided to go for the cute Popcorn the Bear that had not seen ink. I got it from sweet Nikki's shop: Bunny Zoe's crafts.
Coloured the image with my copics. Used my SU DPs and my Martha Stewart punch as well.
Added flowers that was cut out with my flower punches and some dew drops. The text "Dopdagen" is Swedish for the day of Christening. Used my QK alphabet that I got from my sweet Italian friend Serena - thank you again sweetie - it's sooo useful!

Sweet Kimono girl

This week is really flying by.... Well - I will not complain - since we will have a small local scrapevent in my village this Saturday. I am sooo looking fwd to be able to spend some time on only creating cards and being served snacks, dinner, drinks etc. Can't wait!

I wanted to colour this cute Kimono girl when I first got it from Mo. For those of you that have missed Mo's wonderful illustrations - make sure that you visit her store and I am sure that she will have something there for you.

I coloured this little cute girl with my copics. Used my Basic Grey DPs and my Martha Stewart punch. Added some flowers (cut out with my flower punches) and some dew drops for bling.
Ribbon is from SU.

No DP-day

Hej!

Sorry if I have been quiet lately,but I have been so busy with catching up after our trip to Chicago - with all the things to fix around the house and to make decisions for our new bathroom that is under renovation.

This weekend I was very pleased when I got to ink and colour a lot of images and actually finally create some cards and projects ;-)

Suzanne is challeging us this time - over at Susana's store blog - to make a project WITHOUT any DPs...and add a charm. I can hear you already - that's not possible - right?! Well - that was what I thought as well. Then luckily our local craft shop - Pysselakuten - had a sale and I managed to grab some cardstock - please note - this is cardstock - no DP with some texture.

I decided to make this little handbag. The template that I used is from one of Angie Juda's tutorials. However - I made my little bag larger than hers.

Coloured the sweet Aud with my copics. You know - our DT girl Aud has been to Greece with her family - so I made sure that she looked tanned on this one...hihi.... Added a couple of roses and attached the little handbag charm with scrappers floss.

Added velcro - so that the little bag can open and close easily as you see on the below pic.

Cardmaker Isac - 3 years old

Hej!

Just a quick post from me today. Wanted to show you this card that Isac has made. Not bad for a 3-year old!! He really enjoys crafting with me and he can cut the papers with my Fiskars or with scissors. Then attaching glue is not a problem at all.

Stamping is something that he knows as well and using Mom's punches. I had to help him though to make sure that the sentiment was almost in the center of the circle punch ;-)

The only thing that I did help him with was to add glue to the dew drops and attach the little charm.

Victoria's Secret

and then I am not talking about the lingerie ;-) but about this notepad that I made for

my niece Victoria - using the cute Dear Diary image from VC collection over at SCACD.

And it's perfect for this weeks challenge where Suzanne wants us to create a notepad or a notebook cover. So I decided to make one myself - using my bind-it-all machine - another tool that has too much dust on it - why don't I get the time to use all of my crafty stuff, hm.......

Used my Basic Grey DPs again - loving them. Coloured the cute little girl with my copics. Cut out some flowers with my punches and added a pink ribbon that Serena - my Italian friend sent to me. Added the Bella Baubles and key charm . Now this little notebook is ready for my niece - to note down all her secrets in.
