Happy retirement

Hej ladies!

Long time since you heard anything from me. Work, soccer (I'm training Isac and his friends) and life is taking up almost my time :-) That's why it was so nice when Isac's previous teachers called me and asked if I could create a card for on of his teachers who has retired.
I didn't have a stamp - so I had to draw myself (pencil and copics).

Added a little angel charm (money goes to the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation) made by a friend of min that she can remove and wear.

This is the inside of the card - with the lyrics to a Swedish song about life as a pensioner.

Hope you like it. Promise to try to stop by your blogs soon again.
Hugs,

Anki

Creativity

Hej ladies!

Just wanted to show you something that Isac made using his new BIC kids pens. I received several packages of pens (since I'm a Buzzador) for him to play with. He really love to colour - as you already know. These pens and crayons are great. However - he thinks that the coolest ones are the 2-step pens. With these you can colour a base and then using the 2 set of pens colour the next layer - without getting the "wrong" colours - if you know what I mean.

Isac and I made a little tutorial on how the 2-step pens  "Mini Colour & Create" works:

Fist - colour your background - using any of the pens that you see under no 1 above. We chose green for grass.

Then you take the lighter green that you find under no 2 above and colour the leaves and stem.

Picked up the yellow colour for the flower centre.
And then the flower in pink.

As you can see - the colours under no 2 doesn't blend with the green background. Instead it creates a separate layer on top of the green. Isac thought this is superfun.

He also got to test:
* Kid Colour - waterbased ink that is easy to wash off from clothes or hands - if needed:-)
Recommended for kids over the age of 3
   No PVC
   Vivid colours
    Medium blocked tip

* Evolution pencils in bright colours
Made of 50 % recycled material
   Super solid tip
   Safe - no splinters
* Plastidecor crayons
No mess = Clean hands  and clean clothes :-)
   Super solid tip
Recommended as of the age of 2
   No PVC

Here's the first sketch Isac made using these pens/pencils - An aquarium with a diver, fish and a treasure.

I can really recommend these products (because I also had to try them myself of course *lol*).

Have a wonderful creative week everyone! For those of you that live in Sweden - you find these pens at Clas Ohlson, Panduro Hobby and ICA.

Happily Ever After

Today Rebecca (sister to my brother-in-law Fredrik) and Ryan are getting married.
They are getting married here in Sweden, but lives in Colorado US.

My sister Louise asked me if I could create something special as a memory + to hold a gift voucher. I decided to make my very first book card (Thank you Michele Roos for a wonderful tutorial).

I coloured the sweet stamp "I do" from Lili of the Valley with my copics.
Here you have some pics:

The book from the side:

The inside of the book - holding the gift voucher:

The book pages creating the frame. I altered a photo of Rebecca and Ryan into sepia and then added the SU sentiment below: Added lace, heart pearls, roses and leaves.

Happy b'day Isac

Today we have been celebrating our son Isac who turned 6 today.

He loves to dance to Michael Jackson with his best friend Oskar. So I thought I better create
a MJ card for him ;-). He got the Thriller outfit above from his aunts and had to try it before going to bed *lol* .

We love you Isac!

One DP and One gorgeous girl

Happy Saturday ladies!

Here's finally a pic of the card that I promised you after colouring this stunning girl Adele from
Make it crafty that you find at SCACD. She's coloured with my copics.

DP from SU and then I just added a few matching pearls. It was a long time ago since I used so little embellies - but I really love this stamp and I think she shines without a lot of blings, flowers etc ;-)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Love,

Anki

Earth Angel

Hej ladies!
Just a little Sunday post from me - showing you this darling Earth Angel by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD.

Wanted the image to be in center of the card - therefore only 1 DP (hard to limit myself to just 1 - but with this DP it was easy ;-)

Added a ribbon from SU and some pink pearls and stickles.
Hope you like her.

Midsummer - but no beach weather

Hej ladies!

We are celebrating Midsummer here in Sweden and as always it's a mix of sunshine and rain. The thing is that almost everyone try to dine outdoors this specific day - and normally that means - taking out all the food, sit down, start to eat and then the rain arrives - carry everything inside again, sit down and then the sun shines.........out again...... Well - I guess you get the picture :-)

Anyway - we are really longing for some beach weather over here - but hopefully it will arrive in July when most people go on vacation. At least I hope so. Until then - well then I have to play with my stamps from SCACD and dream about the beach - using this cute little Peeker.

Coloured her and the background (created by me) with my copics.
Hope you like it.
