It's time to start making my X-mas cards - well - a little bit late - don't you think so ;-)What do you do when you are spending to much time in the office - leaving to little time to craft, hm.....?? Purchase printed X-mas cards for 1 SEK each??? Nope - I have not given up yet!
So here's a quick posting of 2 of the cards I managed to finish yesterday night (yes - night - not evening because I was stuck in the office then.....).
The first one is the cute little penguin with the ice-cream. He is coloured with SU markers and my aqua painter. You can probably not read the text in the red circle behind him - but it is a lot of Swedish X-mas words. I cut him and the other circle out with my nesties - just love them! Flowers are some that I received from the generous Lim (together with this image) and metal spacers from the sweet Marlene. I added some flower soft as snow - hope you can tell.
DPs from our local shop Pysselakuten. Oh- almost forgot - some stickles to the ice-cream and the cherry!
The second one is another of the images sent to me by Lim - den lilla isbjörnen (there you go - a little Swedish lesson ;-). Here I decided not to add so many layers of DPs, since I thought it created a nice little scene all by itself.
I added some snowflakes (from my new punch purchased at Pysselakuten) and dew drops and a red ribbon. Sentiment stamp from SU.
This card turned out very bright - so it does not really show the real colours, but anyway (I normally complain that it get's too dark so....hihi.....)
I am so looking fwd to this weekend and hope to get out of the office early tomorrow. We have plans to visit the amusement park in Gothenburg called Liseberg. Normally they are only open during Spring-Fall, but they are open now before X-mas. They have created a wonderful Winter scene with millions of spruce garlands. So take a look at their web-site.
