Wishing you love

Happy Saturday ladies!

It's going to be a quick post from me today - since we've promised Isac a stop at the toy store. You've seen her before, but isn't she adorable?

She's perfect for Valentine's Day that is around the corner (can you belive it - January is almost gone...). Went for a clean layout - hope you like it - using my SU DPs, added roses - a girls must have of course - a couple of dew drops and the SU sentiment.

Hope you like it and have a wonderful Saturday! If you've managed to create a card or project using this cute little image - please leave a comment with a link so I can find it.

A sweet bundle of love

Welcome to another Try it out Tuesday!

Suzanne challenged us to create a bookmark for this weeks TIOT. I decided to make a card with a detachable bookmark. You can find the tutorial on SCS. Stamped Young Julia with purse 3 times and coloured her with my copics. All three images in exactly the same colours.

Here's a pic of the front of the card. DPs from my local craft shop. Sentiment and ribbon from SU. Pearls from SCACD. I cut out the little Julia and added her in front of the oval nesties.

Used the same DP on the inside of the card and attached Julia again. Left a little space to the left for leaving a personal greeting. Then I perforated the score mark (so that the bookmark is easy to detach). Here's a pic of the backside of the bookmark. And here's what it looks like on the front.I hope you like it and that you will play with us. Don't hesitate to leave a comment to show us your bookmarks. Happy Tuesday to you all!

Love is in the air - sketch by Iris

Happy Monday to you all!

It's time for another RoP/BnW challenge. Our hostess is lovely Iris who wants us to create a Valentine's card and IF you want to - use her lovely sketch below. I must say - it was a wonderful sketch to work with - so thank you Iris! I picked my DPs first and decided to use some soft colours. Coloured little Tilda with my copics. Played around a little bit with the sketch (wanted the little dove on the yellow DP to show - hope you can see her). Added my pink Country Elegance flowers with rhinestones in the middle. Created my own rhinestone swirls in the right corner ;-) Cut out the circles with my nesties and printed a matching sentiment - "You're my star". I also got to use my Martha Stewart heart punch and added a pink ribbon from SU.

Below you find a close up of the sweet Tilda.

Hope you like it and want to play with us!

Kitty love

Happy Saturday everyone!

A quick post from me today - since we are leaving for Vattenpalatset (the Waterpalace) in our hometown. So I guess it's not going to be a blogging and cardmaking Saturday for me - but a play, splash water on everyone kind of day instead :-)

We are going with my sister Louise - so I am sure Isac and his younger cousin Julia will have tons of fun together.

I just wanted to share this little card that I made with the image Kitty Love from the new release over at BnW. I challenged myself to use purple and pink together and I must say that I am pleased with the result.

Coloured her with my copics. Added flowers and some dew drops.

Hope you like it and now I am off to try to get into that swimsuit (horror... *lol*)

Kramis and have a wonderful weekend!

Packing for CHA?

I guess that many of you lucky ladies (living in US) are getting ready for CHA?
Must say that I really wish I could be there too. However - I know at least two ladies that are going - Susana and Suzanne! I'm sure Susana are going to bring back tons of nice new "must haves";-)) Pictures wanted Susana!! ;-)

Well - at least the travelling part inspired me to make this little suitcase. I've been wanting to do one for ages - after I purchased the traveling trio tutorial from Becky.

Made the base out of blue cardstock. Added layers with a darker blue cardstock and SU DPs from my stash. Added a blue dot ribbon as the handle and the leather strap with the lock. (Purchased the leather strap at my local craftshop - Pysselakuten.)

Stamped the Lockhart Rose Bud Gown on the light blue cardstock. Coloured the image with my copics and added some stickles for highlights.

Added some Prima roses (have you seen Susana's perfect bundles of miniroses - they are a must have) in matching colours and let the keys to the lock hang from the roses in a piece of scrappers floss.

I also had to have some extra bling - so I added a few Bella Baubles and 2 pearl brads.

Well - hope you like it. Looking fwd to hear from you and to Susana and Suzanne - have fun at CHA and we want to see tons of pics (incl pics of you girls) and hearing all about it!

Snowman soup

Hej girls!
Do you still have snow where you live? We have plenty and then some.... :-)
Just a quick post from me to show you one of my favourite projects during Winter time.
I think that the Snowman soup is the perfect fun gift when you are visiting friends or would like to give something small to your loved ones.
I made a few to my friends kids - and I hope they liked them.
Here are a few pics of the Snowman soup and the stamps were actually one of the first stamps that I ever purchased over the Internet from Inky Antics.
Filled the bags with mini-marshmallows, Lindt 70% chocolate bars, instant chocolate mix and a candy cane to stir the soup with ;-)
Coloured the snowmen/snowwomen with my copics.
Have a great day and looking fwd to hear from you!

Coffee and chocolate anyone?

Welcome to another TIOT. I hope you had fun with us on the blog-hop for the new relase over at SCACD - of the Aurora collection.
This week Suzanne wants us to alter an item - of any choice - using one of the new Aurora stamps. I decided to use Aurora takes a break.
First I had to find an empty jar - since I wanted to make something for coffee. Luckily I found one and filled that with coffee beans (we love fresh beans when we are making an espresso or latte in our house).
Then I added several layers of matching DPs (that was sent to me from my sweet friend Tammi). Coloured Aurora with matching copics.
Attached her to the jar as well. Here's a close up of her - isn't she cute?
Then I needed something for the lid - so I cut out matching DPs with my nesties.
Added Hydrangeas and a coffee bean in the center *lol*
The chocolate is Swiss of course (nothing is better than that - it's Lindt Weihnachtsspecialitäten - yummy, yummy...) .
Hope this little project gave you some inspiration - or at least - what you should do when you need a little break..hihi....

Kram and looking fwd to hear from you

Waiting for

Hej girls!
What are you waiting for?? I can tell you - I'm waiting for some sunshine. I do love the winter and the fact that we are having tons of snow - but a little sunshine - that would be sooo nice.
I have a quick post for you today and I hope you like this cute little image "Smile" from the new BnW release. I think she's a cutie.

I coloured her with my copics trying to match the DPs that was sent to me from my supertalented and sweet friend Tammi. This is not the colours that I normally use - but I'm surprised - I like them a lot.

Added some flowers and printed out a matching sentiment. The layout is rather clean - but I needed a little twist - as you can see :-)

Hope you are having a great Monday! And I would love to hear - what image that you are waiting for.

XXXX and OOO

Happy Sunday to you all!
Hope you are having a great weekend so far. Yesterday we danced around our X-mas tree together with Isac's cousins. It's a Swedish tradition called "julgransskakning" = shaking the X-mas tree. The tradition is to dance one last time around the X-mas tree and then take down the decorations and if there's any candy - then the kids get that. Also - Santa came with some extra candy bags for the kids. So now it's official - we are moving towards Spring :-)
Talking about Spring - doesn't this cute new Aurora stamp - Aurora with tulips - remind you that Spring is on it's way?? She is so fun to colour.

I coloured her with my copics of course. Used matching DPs from my stash. Added flowers that I received from my sweet friend Marlene. Needed a little bling - so I added the Prima flower centers from SCACD. Added the Susanament (from the Anki's Sweetheart release no 2).

Hope you like it. Looking fwd to hear from you as always.

You're invited

to the Aurora release over at SCACD and our blog-hop. So first of all - just in case you get lost - here's the blog-hop order:

I got the honor to present Aurora at home. Inked her up with my Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured her with my copics. Highlights with my white ink pen.

Used several layers of my Basic Grey DPs from stash. Added the Susanament "You're invited", Hydrangeas and a mini rose in the center. Attached the little key charm to go with it.

I know that you can't wait to see what's next - so that's why I keep this blog post very short..hihi....

Looking fwd to read your comments and I hope you love little Aurora as much as we do.
Now pop over to Carolyn's blog and see what she's been up to!

Friday Sketchers

I can't believe it - but finally I got the time to enter one of my favorite challenge sites - Friday Sketchers. Don't know when I managed to do that - only that it was way too long ago. This time it's Claudia who has come up with this fun and challenging sketch.
The other good thing with this fun sketch was that I got to use some of my small pieces of DPs that I've had in my stash for a long time. I always save small pieces - but never get to use them. This time I did - yeah!!!
Then I decided to print one of my latest digi images - Angel girl and colour her with my copics. Cut her out with my nesties. Added the brown polka dot ribbon and of course - I needed some roses.
I must say - I am very pleased with this card - so thank you Claudia for providing such a fun sketch to work with!
Kram and looking fwd to hear your comments,
Anki
PS. For those of you that are interested in my little Angel girl - you find her in my Etsy store.

Follow your heart

Welcome to another Try it out Tuesday over at our SCACD blog. This week Suzanne wanted us to use Aqua, Coral (Peach tones) and cream or white on our projects. I decided to colour one of my very first images for SCACD - Emilia with heart .

However - this time I wanted to do something different - so I decided to paperpiece almost the whole image. I did colour her face, hair, arms and shoes with my copics - but then I cut out her outfit from the DPs that I used on the different layers. The heart was cut out from a DP that goes in "Peach tones".
Added the ribbon (it looks more red here than it is in reality), Bella Baubles, some roses and the Susanament - Follow your heart.

I hope you want to play with us this week as well. Looking fwd to hear from you and of course to see your creations. Make sure that you visit the DT girls blog for some more inspiration!

Happy Tuesday to you all and make sure that you stay tuned for the FUN heading your way this week.

A Winter Card - RoP/BnW Challenge

Welcome to another RoP/BnW challenge!

This time it's our sweet Jodi who's hosting the challenge. She wants us to create a Winter card. Well - first of all - Jodi - do you have any snow on Hawaii now??? *lol* - if not - then I can send you tons from Sweden. Here you see a pic of Isac - crossing the finishing line on our long driveway ;-)

For my card I decided to use Tilda. Coloured her with my copics. Used my Basic grey DPs - hope you are not tired of them yet...hihi.....
Added the baby blue ribbon from SU. The wonderful snowflakes was sent to me from my supertalented and sweet friend - Tammi!

Hope to see your Winter cards ladies - so make sure that you join us.

Sweet little one

Happy Sunday to you all!

Here's a quick post from me today - since I hope we will be ice-skating after breakfast.
Well - Isac and Petar will - with me as a back-up and support!
I wanted to join the Copic Creations challenge - have not been able to do so for a very long time. This time the challenge is "Fur". So I decided to print one of my digi images - Twitty
and colour her with my copics.

Well - she does not have that much fur to show - since she's wearing one of her girly outfits - but I hope you can see anyway :-) I tried to follow the very talented Crissy Armstrong's tutorials on colouring fur - she's amazing!

I cut her out with my nesties and added ribbons in matching colours to create a flower. Sentiment from SU.

Well - there you have it. Hope you like her!

PS. Twitty is available in my Etsy store.

Love is in the air

and first of all - Happy Anniversary to my Mom and Dad - they celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary today!! Congratulations and you're the best parents anyone could ask for!
So doesn't I have the perfect card to show you today for this occasion? :-)
This new cute image - Sweet love from - the latest BnW release.
I coloured this cute couple with my copics and went for a clean layout with several layers.
Added a few dew drops and roses - but left the couple to shine in the center of the card.

Well - this post is not going to be long - but if you have made a card with any of the latest BnW images - please put a link on your comment below - since we would love to show your work here in the BnW Spotlight as well!

Wishing you love - Digital Tuesday Challenge

Hej ladies!

I've been out doing my regular snow work-out for a couple of hours. It looks like I need to do another work-out this evening as well - since the snow keep on coming down.
Well - the good thing with the snow is that I - after the work-out session - got to play with one of my very own Digital images - "Angel girl" and to participate in the Digital Tuesday Challenge for the very first time! This time the challenge is to create a Valentine's card for a loved one.
I picked matching DPs from my SU stash, coloured Angel girl with my copics and added
the sentiment Wishing you love from SU. The heart stamp is also from SU.

Added a little piece of lace and roses of course :-) Highlighted some parts of the heart with stickles and finally I added a few dew drops.

I hope you like little Angel girl as much as I do. I'm also working on some more Digi's - but it takes a little bit longer due to that I always need to go out and do my snow work-out these days ;-)

Kram and looking fwd to hear from you

Friend to friend

Hej!

Have you missed us over at SCACD? I hope so. We've had a long holiday break and I hope you all have had as well. Well - the rest is over and it's time to get into that craftroom again! The very first TIOT for 2010 is here and Suzanne challenged us to create a Welcome card/project.

I decided to make 4 gift boxes. This time they are filled with chocolate and yes - I had too many (bye, bye New Years Eve promise, hm...... nope - I've been shoveling sooo much snow lately - so I think I deserved them...hihi......)

The reason why I made 4 was to maximize the use of one cardstock. So I cut one blue cardstock into 4 pieces. Scored each side at 1". Cut and put the box bases together.
Then I picked out 4 wonderful 6"x6" DPs from my Lemonade DP.
Scored each side of them at 7/8". Used my Spellbinders to cut out a window in the lid. I wanted different ones - so that's nice that Susana has so many of them in her store;-)
Covered the windows with acetate. Cut and put the lids together.
Filled the boxes with Twist (a mix of chocolates made for the Scandinavian market - the Norwegians are eating more than us in Sweden - why is that Aud?? :-)

Coloured Atlantia, Cherry Blossom, Fashionista and Marianne with my copics. Cut them out with my Spellbinders and added them on 3d dots onto the "left-overs" from the lid window.
I needed roses of course to go on top of the boxes. I girl can't live without flowers - right?

Well - I hope you've seen that Susana now have the Prima Roses in her store - so make sure that you get your hands on your favourite colours. You will sooo love them - I promise!
Finally I attached the sentiment from SU and ribbon from stash.
These boxes are made for my nieces to give to their friends - and when the chocolate is gone - they can always use the gift boxes to fill with other things matching the images - voucher for shopping, a cell phone, ipod, necklace........ Well - the list can go on and on. I do find these images so versatile and also perfect to use for teenagers and us in our 20++ :-)

Hope you like them and make sure to check out what the rest of the DTs been up to!

To Susana and my DT girlfriends I say: WELCOME BACK GIRLS! I've missed you!

Hej!

I hope you're week has started well. Mine has since I'm still enjoying a couple of more days of vacation. It's still cold here and tons of snow. Isac is practising on his cross-country skies.... and is a fast learner. He got to use them a little bit today at my parents place before we went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks with his cousin Victoria and my sister Pernilla. That was a heartwarming movie. Those Chipmunks were tooo cute ;-) and how they could move and sing... wow..... :-)

As I promised you earlier - you will be seing a lot of BnW cards with the latest release here on my blog. Don't you think this little guy is supercute! The image is called Surprise and I hope you have not missed that they are now available for pre-order over at BnW?

I coloured him with my copics and cut him out with my Spellbinder. Used a mix of the DPs from my stash and the choc chip ribbon from SU. Added the sentiment "Kram" - for those of you that don't know it yet :-) - that means Hug in Swedish. The sentiment is from Aud Design.
Added Country Elegance flowers with Spacer beads in the middle.

Looking fwd to read your comments ladies and I hope to be able to visit your blogs later this week.
