Switcheroo!

Today the TIOT challenge is to use any Elisabeth Bell or Victoria Case for SCACD image and make it usable for an upcoming Autumn or Winter holiday (holiday stamps excluded of course ;-)

I decided to colour Fab Friends with my copics and added a few baubles. DP from SU.

However I did not only want to make an Autumn card - but also a card to hold mini-candles - maybe to go with your Thanksgiving gift or for any housewarming party you might attend this Fall? This is how the set looks like:

Hope you like it. Please note that the SCACD store will be open until 5pm PST today and re-open for business Sunday the 26th. This is due to Web Maintenance. You can browse the store of course during this period, but knowing Susana very well - I'm sure that she will have some news in store for you soon - wink, wink :-)

Kramis and looking fwd to hear from you,

Shape it up!

It's time for another TIOT and Suzanne would like us to "Shape it up" - not sure if she wants the DT to be to some fitness training or *lol*. She does not want our projects to be square or rectangular shaped.

I first thought of making a mini-card with a shape of one of my nesties. Then I changed my mind. I did however cut out the cardstock with my nesties - but instead of making a card - I  made this cute little note book.

Coloured Sweet Slumbers with my copics. Added a few pearls. DP and ribbon from SU.
Here's a pic of the inside.
Hope you like it and join us for the fun.

I also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELENA (my sister-in-law who turns 35 today)

Card for a Christening

Just wanted to show you a card that I made for a little boy called Milton to go with his Christening gift that he got from my sister Louise with family.

Love these cute stamps from Lili of the Valley.  Coloured Baby Blanket with my copics.
DP from Basic Grey Oliver. Cut out his name with my QK and added a few dew drops.

Here's the result:

Hope you like it.

2 x 2

Welcome to the very first TIOT in September!
Suzanne would love to see 2s on your project, that means 2 products, 2 DPs and 2 embellies.

I decided to create some mini-cards with the cute All Grown Up and Bubbles. Coloured them with my copics . DPs from my stash. Added mini-pearls and mini-rose on the first card:

and pearls and heart-pins on the second card:

Hope you like them and would like to join us!

Wishing you a great start of the week!

Friday Sketchers

I think I'm on a roll here - 2 challenges in a row......I am in shock *rofl*. Well - I could not resist to use the sketch over at Friday Sketchers.
I must confess - it was a true challenge - but I'm pleased with the result.
I coloured Spot of Tea with my copics. DPs & ribbon from SU. The only thing that I moved from the sketch was the little rectangle to the right - I decided to use a circle with the sentiment and on the left side instead Sentiment from my supertalented friend Kathy.
Oh - almost forgot - had to have some pearls o the card as well.

Hope you like it and TGIF!!!

InStyle Stamps September Sketch

I just had to colour some of my new images from InStyle Stamps and then I checked their blog - and they had this fab September sketch that I had to try.

I'm so happy that I got the time to play - because it's been ages since I had any time over for just the fun things - entering challenges and being inspired by others.
Hoping for more of that this Autumn.

Anyway - over to my card - I coloured Jana with my copics. Cut her out with my nesties. As for the DP - had to use my Eskimo Kisses DPs again ;-)

The sentiment is sent to me from my sweet and very talented friend Kathy! Added a few dew drops and a ribbon - well there you have it.

Hope you like her as much as I do. She was so much fun to colour.

X-mas tree

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I would like to show you a X-mas card (yes - I'm starting early this year *lol*) that I've made using the wonderful Digi image from In Style Stamps called O Christmas Tree.

I decided to not use the traditional X-mas colours since I still so much love the Eskimo Kisses DP. Coloured the image with my copics of course ;-). Then I went for a rather "clean" layout. Punched out the matching leaves with my Martha Stewart punch that my sweet friend Lim sent to me. Added a few dew drops and of course - some frosting stickles ;-) and a matching ribbon (from SU).
Here's the finished card.

Hope you like it! And as always - I love to hear from you. Hoping to be able to do visit your blogs this weekend.
