Well - I am counting the days - it's soon vacation time over here and then finally SUMMER - YEAH!!!! Suzanne wanted us to make something on the theme Clearly Summer for this weeks TIOT- using acetate or transparency in some way. I had ordered some acetate sheets from Susana earlier, but now I got to finally use them ;-)
Decided to use some of my Basic Grey DPs for this card. Cut out the center with my nestie. Added the layers of DP on the outside and the inside of the card. Punched out matching flowers with my flower punch. Added the acetate on the inside of the card and covered the corners with DP. I also used the circle that was left after making the center as a background on the inside of the card.
Added a lot of flowers as well to the inside and then a matching pink ribbon from SU. I almost forgot to mention that I coloured little Emilia - ready for picnic with my copics. Cut her out and made sure that she was going to show in the middle of the window that I had created. Put her on 3d dots as well to give the card a little more depth.
